AEW Collision Ratings Report For October 11, 2025: Homecoming Episode Sees Biggest Jump in a Month Despite Sports Competition

AEW Collision (October 11, 2025 edition) saw a noticeable boost this past weekend, pulling in 286,000 viewers on TNT, a 26.6% increase from the previous week. The Homecoming episode marked Collision’s highest audience since September 17, when the show aired immediately after AEW Dynamite on a Wednesday night. When looking strictly at Saturday broadcasts, it’s also Collision’s best rating since September 6 — a much-needed rebound heading into AEW’s busy fall schedule.
In the key 18–49 demographic, Collision scored a 0.06 rating, doubling last week’s number and matching its strongest Saturday performance in over a month. That’s a solid gain considering Collision was up against heavy hitters, including multiple college football games across ESPN and FOX, plus an MLB Divisional Series matchup on TBS. Despite the competition, Collision held its own, finishing 12th overall among Saturday night cable programs in the 18–49 demo.
The evening’s top two cable draws were the Georgia vs. Auburn college football game and the Brewers vs. Cubs playoff matchup — both pulling far higher sports crossover audiences. Yet Collision’s upward swing suggests a small but loyal AEW fanbase continues to tune in live, even against packed sports weekends.
While AEW’s year-over-year metrics show a dip — with overall viewership down 17.3% and the 18–49 demo down 40% from the same week in 2024 (using Nielsen’s old panel-only system) — this year’s data doesn’t yet factor in HBO Max simulcast numbers, where AEW content continues to find new audiences.
Nielsen’s new Big Data + Panel system went into effect this month, blending traditional sample-based metrics with digital streaming data. So far, Collision’s ratings appear less affected than WWE programming, which saw sharper declines in linear cable viewership after the switch.
Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
AEW Collision’s rebound is a quiet but important win for Tony Khan’s Saturday brand. Even while going head-to-head with college football and MLB playoffs, Collision’s audience ticked upward — proof that AEW’s core audience still shows up for big cards. That said, long-term stability remains the challenge. The growth this week needs to become a trend, not an exception, if Collision wants to be seen as more than AEW’s “secondary” showcase.
