Location: Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom, Chicago (final night of residency)

AEW Collision wrapped up its residency at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in wild fashion Thursday night, closing a three-week Chicago stretch with carnage, gold changes, and rising tensions heading into August. From a brutal TNT Championship street fight to an electric semifinal in the AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator, the night had it all — including a volatile Jon Moxley laying out a dangerous challenge.

Jon Moxley Calls Out Darby Allin

The show kicked off with an irate Jon Moxley, flanked by Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir. Moxley called out Darby Allin, who had interfered in his AEW World Championship match on Dynamite. Allin appeared in the balcony, but disappeared before Moxley and the Death Riders could get to him.

AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament Quarterfinal

Brodido (Brody King & ROH World Champion Bandido) defeated Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona)

Brodido advanced to the semifinals after a grueling match. Bandido and King showcased new tandem offense, ultimately securing the win when Bandido hit a spectacular, running leg-launched 450 splash on Kaun following a superplex from King.

Kris Statlander def. Lena Kross

In a powerful singles match, Kris Statlander dominated Lena Kross, showcasing her strength before locking in a new submission hold for the victory. Afterward, Statlander and Willow Nightingale had a tense stare-down on the ramp.

Thekla def. Willow Nightingale

Thekla was accompanied by the Triangle of Madness' Julia Hart and Skye Blue, who proved to be a major factor. Hart and Blue's constant distractions allowed Thekla to gain the upper hand, ultimately spearing Willow before finishing her off with a devastating stomp for the win.

Following the match, the Triangle of Madness, along with Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford, brutally attacked Nightingale. Queen Aminata, Tay Melo, and Anna Jay ran out to make the save, evening the odds and hinting at new alliances.

AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament Semifinal

FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) defeated Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson & Austin Gunn)

Former tag champions FTR advanced to the tournament finals in a controversial win. After multiple near-falls and distractions from Stokely Hathaway at ringside, Cash Wheeler reversed a pin attempt from Austin Gunn to steal the victory.

RUSH "Survives" Max Caster

In a unique contest, RUSH and Max Caster faced off for a five-minute time limit. Caster used a combination of running and avoiding RUSH to survive the clock. RUSH, enraged that he couldn't put Caster away, attacked him after the match, but JetSpeed and AR Fox came out to run off RUSH and La Faccion Ingobernable.

SkyFlight (Scorpio Sky, Darius Martin & Dante Martin) defeated Shane Taylor Promotions’ The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean) & Shane Taylor

Scorpio Sky and Top Flight took on Shane Taylor Promotions in a trios match. SkyFlight's cohesion, guided by Christopher Daniels at ringside, proved to be too much for their opponents. Sky hit a TKO on one of The Infantry to secure the win for his team.

TNT Championship Chicago Street Fight

Kyle Fletcher defeated Dustin Rhodes to become the new TNT Champion

In a brutal and bloody Chicago Street Fight, "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher defeated Dustin Rhodes to win his first-ever TNT Championship.

Both men used a variety of weapons, including chairs, a cowbell, and even thumbtacks. The match took a sickening turn when Don Callis slipped Fletcher a screwdriver. Fletcher used the weapon to repeatedly stab Rhodes' knee, leaving the tool embedded in his flesh. Fletcher then hit a brainbuster onto a bed of thumbtacks to pick up the victory.

The show ended with Fletcher and The Don Callis Family celebrating at the top of the ramp as medical personnel stretchered a bloodied and battered Dustin Rhodes to the back.

🗣️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

Kyle Fletcher’s TNT title win officially levels up The Don Callis Family. Fletcher, once viewed as a dark horse in AEW’s mid-card, just stamped his name into the elite class with this performance. Meanwhile, Moxley vs. Darby seems destined for an all-out collision (pun intended), and FTR’s loss proves the Tag Title scene is wide open heading into the tournament finals.
