AEW Collision Results - November 08, 2025: Strong & Thekla Win Blood & Guts Advantage — Fletcher Retains, FTR Falls, and Chaos Erupts Before Greensboro

Houston, Texas played host to an explosive episode of AEW Collision, just four days before Blood & Guts. The night determined which teams would take the critical entry advantage in both the men’s and women’s matches—and it didn’t disappoint.

Bang Bang Gang def. FTR

(Austin Gunn & Juice Robinson vs. Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler)

Opening the show, FTR met the Bang Bang Gang in a fiery brawl that spilled from technical precision to all-out chaos. The crowd was loudly behind Gunn and Robinson, who thrived on the energy.

FTR tried to isolate Robinson’s knee, dissecting it with textbook precision. But the comeback was pure fire: a double DDT and hot tag to Gunn reignited the match. In the final stretch, outside interference from Bandido, Gravity, and JetSpeed turned the tide. Harwood fell victim to a Left Hand of God and The Juice Is Loose, giving the Bang Bang Gang the statement win.

The arena erupted in “JUICE! JUICE!” chants as the victors celebrated with their unlikely allies, while a stunned Stokely Hathaway was chased off by Bandido’s crew.

Backstage: Kyle Fletcher Meets The Rainmaker

TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher was interviewed by Renee Paquette, expressing second thoughts about his No Disqualification rematch with Mark Briscoe at Full Gear—especially with Briscoe’s new stipulation that he must join the Don Callis Family if he loses.

Just as Fletcher admitted his nerves, Kazuchika Okada arrived to reassure him. “You and me, we’re captains of the Don Callis Family,” Okada said. “When you beat Briscoe… we will be ProtOkada!” Fletcher cracked a grin: “It’s got a nice ring to it.”

TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) def. Ace Austin

In a show-stealing title defense, “The Protostar” Fletcher retained against Ace Austin after an incredible back-and-forth display. Austin nearly had it with The Fold, but Fletcher countered into a top-rope brainbuster to secure the win.

Fans gave both men a standing ovation—Fletcher’s seventh successful defense—while Don Callis smirked backstage, watching his champion shine.

Megan Bayne Dominates

A video package chronicled Megan Bayne’s rampage across AEW and STARDOM, reminding fans she’s the x-factor heading into Blood & Guts. Her alliance with Marina Shafir has quietly become one of the division’s deadliest pairings.

Kris Statlander Sends a Message to Mercedes Moné

Sitting alone on the arena steps, the AEW Women’s World Champion cut one of her sharpest promos yet.

“Mercedes, you have what I don’t—legacy, fame, history. But what I have is focus. You’re distracted, and that’s why I’ll beat you… again.”

Statlander vowed to chase Moné through Blood & Guts until she earned her complete attention—and then crush her at Full Gear.

The Death Riders Confront Don Callis and Fletcher

Jon Moxley and the Death Riders warned Callis to “keep out of our business,” as Callis and Fletcher offered cooperation over Mark Briscoe. Mox growled, “Do we look like we need favors from anybody?” before storming off. Fletcher tried to save face, muttering, “I think that went OK…”

TayJay def. Maya World & Hyan

Tay Melo and Anna Jay dominated their opponents with quick tags and ruthless teamwork, finishing with a Gory Special–Knee combo for the three-count. TayJay’s chemistry looked sharper than ever.

Athena Reclaims Her Edge

ROH Women’s Champion Athena cut a fiery backstage promo with Lexy Nair, blaming everyone—Mercedes Moné, Billie Starkz, and Kris Statlander—for her recent struggles.

“If Harley Cameron survives Blood & Guts, I’ll make her my puppet. And I’ll do it for me, not my minions.”

Women’s Blood & Guts Advantage Battles

Match 2: Jamie Hayter def. Skye Blue
Hayter had to win to keep her team alive, and she did—barely. After a gritty back-and-forth, Hayter nailed the Hayterade to even the series at 1-1. Chaos erupted post-match as Thekla and Julia Hart attacked Hayter, setting up the decisive third bout.

Match 3: Thekla def. Harley Cameron
In a hard-hitting finale, Thekla survived Harley’s onslaught and nailed a spear after her trademark spider-walk to secure the win and the Blood & Guts advantage for her team.

JetSpeed Announces Full Gear Entry

After helping the Bang Bang Gang earlier, Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight declared they’re entering the Casino Gauntlet at Full Gear for the new AEW National Championship. Bailey promised, “If it comes down to us, may the best man win.”

The Acclaimed Implode

Anthony Bowens declared the end of The Acclaimed, prompting a tense face-off with Max Caster. Lexy Nair interrupted to remind them that Tony Khan ordered them to team up for the Full Gear Tailgate Brawl due to ratings and merch sales.

“Tony, you’ll regret this,” Caster warned, before both men stormed off separately.

Men’s Blood & Guts Advantage Battle: Roderick Strong def. Jon Moxley (Countout)

The main event delivered violence, chaos, and surprise. Strong and Moxley brutalized each other inside and outside the ring, with interference from Marina Shafir, PAC, and Kyle O’Reilly.

When all hell broke loose, Moxley tried to finish Strong with a piledriver on the steps—but Darby Allin appeared from under the ring with a cattle prod, shocking PAC and holding off the Death Riders as Moxley was counted out.

Strong collapsed in the ring, victorious and bloodied, as commentary screamed:

“Strong’s side gets the advantage at Blood & Guts! And Darby Allin just shocked the world!”

Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

AEW Collision was a perfectly timed chaos bomb before Blood & Guts. Between Fletcher’s brilliance, Darby’s shocking return, and Statlander’s chilling focus, the stakes couldn’t be higher heading into Greensboro. AEW feels alive with unpredictable energy again—and that’s exactly what Blood & Guts needs.
