Unified Title Qualifiers, Garcia & Moxley Team Up, Briscoe Drops Stipulation on MJF

AEW taped this week’s edition of Collision ahead of Saturday’s broadcast, and the results carry major implications for All Out in Toronto next weekend. With the Unified Championship tournament underway, a Tables and Thumbtacks No DQ stipulation set, and more chaos unfolding, fans in Philadelphia were treated to a loaded night of action.

Spoiler Results from AEW Collision

  • MJF / Mark Briscoe Segment
MJF cut an interview with Ian Riccaboni, mocking Mark Briscoe, only for Briscoe to appear on the big screen. The former ROH World Champion revealed the stipulation for their All Out clash: a Tables & Thumbtacks No Disqualification Match. Briscoe then appeared live and tried to brawl with MJF, but the champion escaped.
  • Konosuke Takeshita def. Anthony Bowens
    Unified Title Qualifying Match
“The Alpha” punched his ticket toward All Out with a dominant performance, while Bowens was left frustrated after another singles setback.
  • Triangle of Madness (Julia Hart, Skye Blue & Thekla), Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford def. Kris Statlander, Jamie Hayter, Tay Melo, Harley Cameron & Anna Jay
    $500,000 Five-on-Five Tag Team Match
The heel squad stole the spotlight, leaving AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm with plenty to think about heading into her Four-Way Title defense at All Out.
  • Big Bill def. Max Caster
Afterward, Anthony Bowens confronted Caster backstage during a tense promo with Jerry Lynn. A wild brawl broke out involving Blake Christian and Lee Johnson, until Bowens and Caster briefly reunited to make the save—though they left separately.
  • FTR def. Tommy Billington & Adam Priest
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler kept momentum ahead of their highly anticipated showdown with Adam Copeland and Christian Cage at All Out.
  • Kazuchika Okada def. Michael Oku
    Unified Title Qualifying Match
The “Rainmaker” showcased why many call him the best tournament wrestler in the world, fending off the fiery Michael Oku to advance to the All Out three-way title match.
  • Jon Moxley & Daniel Garcia def. The Paragon (Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong)
Garcia’s first official match as a Death Rider ended in victory alongside Moxley. Their chemistry was evident, while Paragon looked rattled by Garcia’s betrayal.
  • Post-Taping Tribute
After the show, Tony Khan, Sting, Jeff Jarrett, Doug Gilbert, and Tommy Rich joined the crowd in paying tribute to the late Eddie Gilbert, closing the night on a respectful note.

Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
AEW Collision this week sets the stage for one of the most unpredictable All Out cards in years. Okada and Takeshita both advancing means Toronto could see a dream three-way clash for the Unified Title. Meanwhile, Garcia’s alignment with Moxley is already paying dividends, but it leaves questions about where Darby Allin fits into the Death Riders’ story.

The Tables & Thumbtacks stipulation for MJF vs. Briscoe feels tailor-made for Philadelphia’s hardcore history—AEW clearly wants that showdown to stand out. The women’s five-on-five also added fuel to the already heated Four-Way Title bout next weekend.
With so much happening in one episode, it’s no wonder Collision has fans buzzing heading into All Out.
