AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary Preview (10/1/25): Champions Collide, Major Returns, and TNT Title on the Line

AEW Dynamite turns six tonight, live from Hollywood, Florida, and the company is celebrating with a 2.5-hour anniversary extravaganza. Fans can expect a lineup stacked with returning stars, championship clashes, and a spotlight on the faction that has defined chaos in AEW this past year—the Death Riders.

AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary

  • TV: TBS
  • Streaming: HBO Max
  • Time: 8 p.m. EST / 7 p.m. CST
  • Location: Hard Rock Live, Seminole Hard Rock, Hollywood, FL

Announced Card

  • Hangman Adam Page, Samoa Joe & Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Daniel Garcia
  • Kris Statlander & Darby Allin vs. Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta (Mixed Tornado Tag)
  • Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Orange Cassidy – TNT Championship
  • Kenny Omega & Brodido vs. Josh Alexander & Young Bucks
  • “Timeless” Toni Storm Returns
  • Jurassic Express Returns

Hangman, Hobbs, and Joe vs. The Death Riders

The main event brings fireworks as AEW Men’s World Champion Hangman Adam Page joins forces with AEW Trios Champions Powerhouse Hobbs and Samoa Joe to battle Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Daniel Garcia.

Garcia recently injured Hobbs and Joe’s partner Katsuyori Shibata, and Hangman has vowed to stand by his allies in retaliation. With AEW’s biggest powerhouses colliding, expect a war that continues the long-standing feud between the Death Riders and AEW’s champions.

Statlander & Darby vs. Shafir & Yuta – Mixed Tornado Tag

The AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander teams up with Darby Allin to take on Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir. Statlander’s fiery rejection of the Death Riders last week put a spotlight on her independence, while Darby remains laser-focused on his “I Quit” showdown with Moxley at WrestleDream.

TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Orange Cassidy

After Hologram was sidelined by Kyle Fletcher’s vicious attack, Orange Cassidy steps up tonight in his teammate’s honor. Cassidy returned last week after his own injury hiatus and now looks to capture the TNT Championship. Fletcher, however, has been on a tear since claiming the title, and the Don Callis Family will no doubt be lurking.

The Return of Kenny Omega & Brodido vs. Callis Family & Young Bucks

Back from a brutal injury at the hands of Kyle Fletcher, Kenny Omega makes his long-awaited return. He teams with AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido (Bandido & Brody King) to face Josh Alexander and The Young Bucks, a match fueled by betrayal, revenge, and Don Callis Family interference.

“Timeless” Toni Storm Returns

The former AEW Women’s World Champion is back on Dynamite for the first time since losing her title at All Out. Expect Storm to address her rivalry with Statlander, her future in the division, and the newly revealed Women’s Tag Titles and Blood & Guts announcement.

Jurassic Express Reunites

Jack Perry and Luchasaurus are back together as Jurassic Express for the first time since 2022. After Perry’s All Out reunion with his longtime partner, fans are eager to see if their target is revenge against the Young Bucks—or something even bigger.

🎙️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

AEW is throwing everything at the wall for its sixth anniversary, and the pacing feels like a statement: this company isn’t just celebrating history—it’s setting up for WrestleDream. The Death Riders remain the most important story, tying together feuds across the men’s and women’s divisions, while the returns of Kenny Omega, Toni Storm, and Jurassic Express give the show major event vibes. Tonight feels less like a weekly Dynamite and more like a pay-per-view lead-in.
