AEW Dynamite & Collision Results - October 15, 2025: WrestleDream Go-Home Chaos

AEW closed out its final Dynamite and Collision double-feature before WrestleDream 2025 with a night of mayhem, emotional promos, and last-minute alliances that left the crowd buzzing — and in some cases, shocked. From Kenny Omega reuniting with Jungle Man Jack Perry to Darby Allin bleeding his way into defiance, this episode fired on all cylinders before Saturday’s PPV.

Toni Storm vs. Kris Statlander Breaks Down Before WrestleDream

A tense sit-down with Renee Paquette devolved into an all-out brawl as Toni Storm and AEW TBS Champion Kris Statlander exchanged psychological warfare before coming to blows. Storm declared herself “the canvas and the art,” while Statlander calmly proclaimed herself “a killer as dangerous as the cosmos is large.”

Moments later, both women hit the ring and traded wild shots — suplexes, reversals, and a brutal German from Storm that left the champ rocked. In a surprising moment of restraint, Toni placed the belt on Statlander’s shoulder, kissed her forehead, and walked away.

Wrestling.News | Backstage Take: Toni Storm’s spiral continues to be AEW’s most unpredictable story. Expect Saturday’s match to blur the line between breakdown and brilliance.

GOA def. Hurt Syndicate

The Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) defeated Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin in a powerhouse slugfest after Ricochet distracted Benjamin, allowing Kaun to score the pin. Lashley’s frustration after the bell hinted at brewing dissension inside the Hurt Syndicate.

Backstage Take: AEW’s tag division feels loaded — but stories like this one need clarity fast before fan interest drops.

Darby Allin’s Blood Feud Reaches New Level of Madness

Jon Moxley met Darby Allin in a holding cell to discuss their “I Quit” match — but chaos erupted when PAC attacked Darby inside the cell, choking him out and smearing his blood across the glass. The Death Riders arrived soon after, setting the stage for one of AEW’s most violent PPV showdowns ever.

Backstage Take: AEW’s storytelling here was cinematic — but it’s also the kind of shock value that risks overshadowing the in-ring psychology that made Allin vs. Moxley so compelling.

Claudio Castagnoli def. Roderick Strong

In a stiff, technical battle, Claudio Castagnoli overpowered Roderick Strong with a Swiss Death uppercut out of nowhere. This match reinforced AEW’s deep bench of technical workhorses heading into WrestleDream.

Jurassic Express & Kenny Omega def. Don Callis Family

Kenny Omega, Jack Perry, and Luchasaurus scored a huge victory over Josh Alexander, Hechicero, and Mark Davis, after a Doomsday Device sealed the deal. Post-match chaos saw The Young Bucks ambush Jungle Man and Luchasaurus before Omega made the save, creating tension between the Bucks and Omega ahead of WrestleDream.

Backstage Take: The Kenny-Jungle alliance feels like lightning in a bottle — AEW would be wise to ride this pairing beyond Saturday.

Jamie Hayter def. Skye Blue

In a physical women’s bout, Jamie Hayter scored the win over Skye Blue with Hayterade. After the bell, Thekla appeared via video, promising to bring “toxic chaos” to WrestleDream.

The Opps retain the AEW World Trios Championship

Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Will Hobbs retained their AEW Trios Titles over La Facción Ingobernable, with Joe tapping out Dralistico. Post-match, Rush taunted Hangman Page at commentary, igniting a wild brawl before Joe shoved the AEW World Title into Page’s chest — a not-so-subtle challenge.

Backstage Take: AEW continues teasing Page vs. Joe as a money feud — but with so many overlapping stories, the question is whether fans can stay emotionally invested through the noise.

Death Riders def. Kyle O’Reilly & Orange Cassidy

Daniel Garcia & Wheeler YUTA defeated Kyle O’Reilly & Orange Cassidy after interference from Marina Shafir. Post-match, Darby Allin returned bloodied, only for Moxley to drop him with a Death Rider as the Death Riders stood tall to close Dynamite.

Megan Bayne def. Harley Cameron

Megan Bayne overpowered Harley Cameron in a hard-hitting affair, winning via running Liger Bomb. Afterward, Willow Nightingale and JetSpeed brawled with Bayne and FTR to set up the mixed-tag chaos expected at WrestleDream’s tailgate event.

Brodido & Mark Briscoe def. Don Callis Family

Brody King, Bandido, and Mark Briscoe defeated Kyle Fletcher, Lance Archer, & Rocky Romero after a knee-assisted piledriver on Romero. The post-match angle saw Kazuchika Okada ambush Brody King, raise the IWGP and AEW titles, and officially close AEW’s WrestleDream go-home show standing tall.

Backstage Take: The Don Callis Family is AEW’s most consistent factional story — but if AEW wants WrestleDream to draw, it must capitalize on Okada’s aura instead of burying him in side stories.

Overall Show Take

AEW delivered an eventful go-home week, but the company’s broader concern remains clear — momentum feels stagnant despite stacked cards and star power like Omega, Moxley, and Storm. Ratings and buzz need more than chaos; they need consequence.

Wrestling.News | Backstage Take: AEW has all the tools but must channel its creative energy into payoffs that fans feel — not just segments that pop.
