AEW Dynamite Preview - September 03, 2025: Omega & Page Team, Moné Defends TBS Title in Philly Showdown

The road to All Out Toronto heats up tonight as AEW Dynamite returns for week two of its residency inside Philadelphia’s legendary 2300 Arena. With former champions reuniting, grudges spilling over, and a TBS title match with history baked in, this episode promises high drama and plenty of intrigue.
Omega & Page Reunite for an 8-Man War
Last week’s Dynamite ended with a shocking return as Kenny Omega stormed back onto AEW television to rescue Hangman Adam Page from a beatdown at the hands of the Don Callis Family. It marked Omega’s first Dynamite appearance since before All In Texas and his first time sharing the ring with Page since All In 2023.
Tonight, the one-time AEW World Tag Team Champions — turned bitter rivals, turned unlikely allies — will stand side by side once again. Joining them are AEW’s rising tag sensations JetSpeed, as they square off against the Young Bucks, Josh Alexander, and TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher.
For Page, who’s still defending the AEW World Championship with a target on his back, and Omega, who’s still at odds with Don Callis, this isn’t just about old friendships — it’s about survival. With All Out looming in Canada, fans will be watching closely to see if “The Best Bout Machine” sets his sights back on championship gold.

Moné vs. Windsor — Personal & Professional Stakes Collide
On the women’s side, Mercedes Moné puts her TBS Championship on the line in a one-on-one showdown against Alex Windsor.
The two have danced around each other for months — in RevPro, at Forbidden Door, and most recently in AEW tag team action. Windsor famously made Moné tap out to a sharpshooter in Glasgow, though Moné wasn’t the legal competitor at the time. That’s left Windsor insisting she has Moné’s number, while Moné counters that Windsor’s only real shot at her title ends with a trip to the hospital — just like her injured husband, Will Ospreay.
With Moné chasing the record for the longest TBS title reign and Windsor hungry for her first AEW singles championship, expect fireworks in Philadelphia.

🎙️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
This Dynamite has “must-see” written all over it. AEW wisely saved Omega’s return for Philadelphia — a city with deep ties to wrestling history — and pairing him back up with Page creates instant nostalgia and fresh tension all at once. Meanwhile, the Moné–Windsor program feels like a genuine proving ground. If Windsor pulls the upset, it shakes up the women’s division overnight. If Moné wins, her march toward breaking records looks unstoppable. Either way, Philly fans are in for something special tonight.
