AEW Dynamite Results - September 24, 2025: Orange Cassidy Returns, Statlander Retains, Tony Khan Makes Major Announcement

AEW Dynamite came to Pittsburgh with championship gold on the line, surprise returns, heated promos, and one flamethrower-wielding Darby Allin. Here’s everything that went down.
Hangman’s Message to Kyle Fletcher
Backstage, “Hangman” Adam Page opened the night addressing Kyle Fletcher’s challenge at All Out, giving Fletcher credit for pushing him harder than expected. Still, Hangman made it clear he remains AEW World Champion and is ready to defend against Pittsburgh’s own Lee Moriarty later in the show.
AEW World Tag Team Championship
Brodido (Bandido & Brody King) (c) vs. Gates of Agony (Kaun & Toa Liona)
With Ricochet on commentary, the champs defended against the Gates in a bruising contest. Bandido’s agility and Brody’s power were constantly tested by Liona’s raw size and Kaun’s precision.
The Gates nearly stole it after a double powerbomb, but Brody saved the day. Ricochet tried to interfere with a chair, only to be ejected by referee Aubrey Edwards. The distraction allowed Bandido to roll Kaun into a 21-Plex, giving Brodido the pinfall win and a successful title defense.
Winners: Brodido (retain AEW World Tag Team Championship)
The Conglomeration Tease Their Mystery Partner
In a backstage promo, Mark Briscoe promised Don Callis’ Family would get a fight tonight, introducing their mystery partner with a cheeky hint: “Orange you glad I have so many friends to conglomerate with?”
Kris Statlander Interview
Kris Statlander, flanked by Harley Cameron, admitted she’s battered but ready to defend her title against Mina Shirakawa. Statlander gave a sharp glare when asked about her ties to the Death Riders, while Harley offered quirky support.
AEW World Championship
“Hangman” Adam Page (c) vs. Lee Moriarty
A technical showcase gave the hometown favorite Moriarty some of his best moments on AEW TV. He locked in a Border City Stretch and countered Deadeye twice, but Hangman proved too much. After a brutal lariat, Page finally connected with Deadeye for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Hangman Adam Page (retains AEW Men’s World Championship)

FTR and Stokely Hathaway “Apologize”
FTR and Stokely Hathaway cut a scathing promo about Adam Copeland and Beth Phoenix, claiming innocence while taking repeated cheap shots. Their so-called apology drew out Willow Nightingale, who passionately credited Beth for inspiring her career. When Stoke mocked her, Willow slapped him across the face. JetSpeed joined to even the odds and sent FTR packing.
MJF Reflects After All Out
In a post-show clip, a visibly drained MJF admitted he’s been “playing a caricature” of himself since losing the AEW World Title. He vowed to step away until he rediscovers the dangerous edge that once put Swerve, Hangman, and Ospreay in his rearview mirror.

The Masterpiece Revealed – Orange Cassidy Returns
Don Callis unveiled what he called his greatest painting yet, hyping it as worthy of Da Vinci or Picasso. When the curtain dropped, it wasn’t a painting at all—it was Orange Cassidy. To a thunderous ovation, Cassidy ripped through the canvas, sauntered to the ring, and nailed a dropkick with his hands still in his pockets.
Six-Man Tag Team Match
Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Hologram & Orange Cassidy) vs. Don Callis Family (Okada, Takeshita & Hechicero)
The return of Cassidy electrified the crowd as he and Briscoe joined Hologram against Callis’ trio. The action broke down into chaos with dives, counters, and a series of jaw-dropping exchanges.
In the end, Cassidy floored Hechicero with an Orange Punch, setting up Hologram to hit the Portal Bomb for the pinfall.
Winners: The Conglomeration
Post-match, Kyle Fletcher challenged Hologram for next week’s Dynamite 6-Year Anniversary, putting his TNT Championship on the line against Hologram’s undefeated streak.

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Will Hobbs
Two powerhouses collided in a slugfest. Hobbs dominated with repeated slams, but Claudio’s experience carried him through. With PAC providing a distraction, Claudio surprised Hobbs with a small package to steal the win.
Winner: Claudio Castagnoli
Post-match chaos saw Samoa Joe run PAC off, Hobbs lay out Claudio, and the Death Riders overwhelm until Hangman Page made the save with his AEW World Title in hand.

AEW Women’s World Championship
Kris Statlander (c) vs. Mina Shirakawa
Shirakawa fought with passion, even dedicating her challenge to the absent Toni Storm. She nearly captured the title with a Michinoku Driver and figure-four leglock, but Statlander escaped and countered late with her trademark seatbelt pin to retain.
Winner: Kris Statlander (retains AEW Women’s World Championship)
Post-match, the Death Riders surrounded the ring. Wheeler Yuta raised Statlander’s hand—only for her to level him with a lariat. Statlander then flipped off Jon Moxley before escaping through the crowd with Harley Cameron.
The shocking turn was cut short when Darby Allin appeared wielding a flamethrower, chasing off the Death Riders and challenging Moxley to an “I Quit” match at WrestleDream.

🗣️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
This episode of Dynamite will be remembered for two moments: the return of Orange Cassidy and the announcement of AEW’s first-ever Women’s Tag Titles. Cassidy’s reemergence couldn’t have come at a better time with AEW’s top babyfaces sidelined, and his chemistry with the Callis Family is already a hot angle.
Meanwhile, Statlander’s betrayal of Wheeler Yuta pushes her into a fascinating new gray area aligned with Harley Cameron, setting up major drama inside the women’s division. And Darby Allin with a flamethrower? Love it or hate it, AEW knows how to send fans home buzzing.
