Boston is about to become the center of the wrestling universe for one night.

AEW lands inside Agganis Arena tonight with a special three-hour Dynamite/Collision supershow, the final stop before Full Gear hits the Prudential Center this Saturday. With championship gold on the line, new titles being introduced, tournament high stakes, and the long-awaited return of Kenny Omega, this is shaping up to be one of AEW’s biggest TV nights of the year.

Let’s break down everything on deck for tonight’s card.

How to Watch AEW Dynamite Tonight

TV: TBS
Streaming: HBO Max
Start Time: 8 p.m. EST / 7 p.m. CST
Venue: Agganis Arena — Boston, Massachusetts

AEW Dynamite Card (Announced)

  • Hangman Adam Page vs. Katsuyori Shibata
  • Kenny Omega Returns
  • Mercedes Moné vs. Red Velvet — Undisputed ROH Women’s World TV Title
  • Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa vs. Riho & Alex Windsor — Women’s Tag Tournament
  • TayJay vs. Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir — Women’s Tag Tournament
  • Kazuchika Okada vs. Mascara Dorada — Double Jeopardy Match
  • Bobby Lashley vs. Ricochet — #1 Gauntlet Entry
  • Speedball Mike Bailey vs. Shelton Benjamin — #2 Gauntlet Entry

Hangman Page vs. Katsuyori Shibata — Last Stop Before the Steel Cage

The AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page is on a mission to dismantle The Opps before stepping into a steel cage with Samoa Joe at Full Gear. After surviving Powerhouse Hobbs in a brutal Falls Count Anywhere match last week, Hangman now has to deal with Katsuyori Shibata — one of AEW’s most dangerous technicians and Joe’s Trios Championship partner.

Hangman’s back is banged up, The Opps are lurking, and Shibata doesn’t show mercy. Will Eddie Kingston and Hook appear again to even the odds? Or will Hangman walk into Full Gear already broken?

This one has “fight of the night” potential written all over it.

Mercedes Moné vs. Red Velvet — Undisputed ROH Women’s World TV Title Unification

Mercedes Moné returns home to Boston with 13 championships in her arsenal and a chance to add number 14 at Full Gear. But tonight, she must deal with unfinished business.

After winning the Interim ROH Women’s World TV Championship at WrestleDream, Moné now faces the official champion Red Velvet, who has returned from injury and never vacated her title.

The result? AEW’s first-ever Undisputed ROH Women’s World TV Champion.

And with Kris Statlander lurking — the same Statlander who put Moné through a table at Blood & Guts — Mercedes can’t afford even the slightest misstep in her hometown.

Casino Gauntlet Stakes: Lashley, Ricochet, Benjamin, Speedball

The brand-new AEW National Championship will be crowned at Full Gear in a Casino Gauntlet, and tonight’s show determines who enters at:

  • #1 → Bobby Lashley vs. Ricochet
  • #2 → “Speedball” Mike Bailey vs. Shelton Benjamin

These aren’t just slot-position matches — these are deeply personal rivalries rekindled:

  • Lashley and Ricochet battled over the U.S. Title years ago.
  • Benjamin and Speedball tore it down internationally long before AEW.

Every second counts in a Gauntlet. A #1 entry could be a death sentence… or a career-defining miracle.

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament Continues

The Women’s Division is on fire after last week’s historic Blood & Guts match, and now two huge quarterfinal matches determine who continues toward becoming the inaugural champions.

Timeless Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa vs. Riho & Alex Windsor

After Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir’s vicious attack forced Storm to throw in the towel last week, the Timeless Lovebombs need redemption. But Riho and Windsor have momentum and chemistry on their side.

TayJay vs. Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir

Tay Melo & Anna Jay have waited years for a Women’s Tag Team division — but Bayne & Shafir are a wrecking ball tandem who have steamrolled nearly everyone they’ve touched.

Tonight will absolutely shape the bracket.

Don Callis Family Madness: Okada, Takeshita, Fletcher, Dorada & Omega’s Return

This is where the night gets wild.

Kazuchika Okada vs. Mascara Dorada (Double Jeopardy Match)

If Okada wins → he gets a shot at Dorada’s CMLL Trios Titles (with any Callis Family partners he chooses). If Dorada wins → he earns an AEW Unified Championship match.

Their chemistry at All Out was electric, and Dorada is still hunting a signature AEW victory. Add in Okada’s escalating war with Konosuke Takeshita — and his efforts to manipulate Kyle Fletcher — and this one is soaked in drama.

Kenny Omega Returns

The Cleaner is back, and he’s walking into a minefield.

Josh Alexander took out another member of Omega’s inner circle (Michael Nakazawa), and Callis continues recruiting the Young Bucks — exploiting their money problems along the way.

Omega teams with Jurassic Express at Full Gear against Alexander & The Bucks with $1,000,000 on the line. Tonight’s return could push the Bucks in either direction.

Will we see The Elite reunited… or imploding?

🎙️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

Tonight feels like a supercard — not a TV show. AEW loads up before PPVs, but this is another level. Omega’s return is massive. Okada/Dorada could steal the show. The women’s tag tournament is producing real excitement. And the National Championship Gauntlet is already adding depth to AEW’s mid-card.

But make no mistake:

Hangman vs. Shibata is the match that will define tonight.
If Hangman gets hurt again, his Full Gear cage match with Samoa Joe changes dramatically.

Expect drama, returns, violence, and at least one major swerve.

We are basically getting a PPV on free TV.
