AEW Officially Announces Blood & Guts 2025 for Greensboro – Women’s Division Makes History

AEW’s most violent tradition is back, and this year it will make history. The first-ever Women’s Blood & Guts match has been officially confirmed for the November 12th edition of AEW Dynamite, live from the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Ticket Info
Fans in the Carolinas won’t want to miss this historic night. There is VIP early access starting today—the presale begins Thursday, October 2nd, while general tickets go on sale Friday, October 3rd. Given the significance of this year’s Blood & Guts, expect demand to be high.
The Road to Blood & Guts
The announcement comes just days after Jamie Hayter confirmed the inaugural women’s Blood & Guts following a post-match attack from the Triangle of Madness on Collision.
The women’s division has been on fire for weeks, with alliances forming and breaking in chaotic multi-woman matches. At All Out in Toronto, an 8-Woman Tornado Tailgate Brawl set the stage, with Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, Queen Aminata, and Mina Shirakawa scoring a huge win over Megan Bayne, Penelope Ford, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue.
Though the official teams have yet to be announced, all signs point to the Triangle of Madness anchoring the heel side, while Hayter and Aminata emerge as cornerstones for the babyfaces.
Team AEW?
One intriguing detail: during the Tornado Tailgate Brawl, the babyfaces entered wearing AEW-branded t-shirts—a move that seemed like more than just fashion. Fans are already buzzing about the possibility of a “Team AEW” factional battle, echoing the company pride seen in Anarchy in the Arena at Double or Nothing and last year’s Blood & Guts against The Elite.
Key Players in the Mix
- Willow Nightingale: After battling the Death Riders all year, Willow has cemented herself as one of the division’s most beloved stars and already has experience in all-out war matches, having competed in May’s Anarchy in the Arena.
- Kris Statlander: The new AEW Women’s World Champion has been locked in a long-running struggle with the Death Riders. Her fiery rejection of the faction last Wednesday on Dynamite signals she could be a central figure in the fight.
- Jamie Hayter: Returning to action and already making headlines, Hayter is determined to put the women’s division on the same violent stage that men’s Blood & Guts has delivered year after year.
Beyond Blood & Guts
Traditionally, AEW has followed Blood & Guts with a Royal Rampage battle royal during the Rampage tapings, taking advantage of the double-ring setup. Last year’s winner even earned an AEW Men’s World Title shot. However, with Rampage no longer in production after 2024, it’s unclear if that tradition will continue in Greensboro—or if AEW has something new in store.
