AEW’s Holiday Shake-Up: Dynamite & Collision Get Major December Schedule Changes
December is always unpredictable in the world of television, and this year All Elite Wrestling is feeling the full holiday ripple effect. Warner Bros. Discovery has officially shuffled the deck for both AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision, creating one of the most unorthodox month-long lineups the company has ever aired.
From early-afternoon start times to midweek Collision specials and a rare Christmas double-header, AEW fans will need a calendar and maybe a reminder app to follow along.
Let’s break down the full schedule.

Collision Moved to an Early Start on December 13
The December 13 episode of AEW Collision will air at 4:30 p.m. ET on TNT, broadcasting live from Cardiff, Wales.
This timing shift removes a potential head-to-head clash with WWE, clearing the lane for John Cena’s final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, which starts at 7 p.m. ET on Peacock.
A rare truce in the weekly ratings war? Not intentional — but definitely noteworthy.
A Midweek Collision on December 17
December 17 will feature a unique two-part AEW block:
- Dynamite at its usual time
- Followed by a special Collision at 10 p.m. ET on TBS
- Then the Countdown to World's End 2025 special at 11 p.m. ET
This essentially turns Wednesday night into a three-hour AEW marathon — perfect for fans settling into holiday mode.
Afternoon Collision on December 20
Another early show arrives December 20 with Collision airing at 2:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
Holiday travel weekends strike again.
AEW Christmas Week TV: Pre-Recorded Holiday Specials
AEW is keeping tradition alive with festive pre-taped episodes:
- Dynamite on 34th Street — Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. ET (TBS)
- Christmas Collision — Thursday, Dec. 25 at 9 p.m. ET (TNT)
Both holiday shows will be filmed at the Manhattan Center in New York City, historically one of wrestling’s most atmospheric venues.
Streaming
As always, every episode of Dynamite and Collision will stream live on HBO Max.
On-Screen Action Coming This December
Despite the shifting schedule, AEW’s end-of-year programming is stacked.
Continental Classic Takes Center Stage
The third annual Continental Classic dominates December.
Kazuchika Okada looks to retain his Unified Championship for the second straight year, with Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita joining him in the tournament under the Don Callis Family banner.
Expect some of the highest-caliber matches AEW produces all year.
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles Coming Soon
A historic moment is ahead: AEW will crown its first-ever Women’s World Tag Team Champions this month.
The semifinal matchup continues this Wednesday on Dynamite as:
Babes of Wrath vs. Sisters of Sin
The division hasn’t felt this competitive in a long time.
Worlds End: AEW’s Final PPV of 2025
AEW closes the year with Worlds End on
Saturday, December 27 • 8 p.m. ET
NOW Arena – Chicago, IL
No Tailgate Brawl has been announced yet — though things may change as we get closer to the show.
Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
December might be the most chaotic month AEW has ever scheduled — but honestly? It could work in their favor. The midweek Collision special gives AEW a chance to experiment with formatting, while the early-start Wales show avoids unnecessary ratings competition with Cena’s retirement sendoff.
The real story is the booking. The Continental Classic, Okada’s title defenses, the rising Don Callis Family, and the new Women’s Tag Titles inject December with real stakes.
AEW’s year-end stretch run feels important — and that’s exactly what they need going into 2026.
