The Champ’s last ride is officially underway — digitally, at least.

2K and WWE have officially launched the WWE 2K25 Farewell Tour Edition, a star-studded celebration of John Cena’s two-decade legacy inside the squared circle. Available now across all major platforms, the special edition pays tribute to the 17-time World Champion’s in-ring farewell, slated for December 2025.

The Farewell Tour Edition features four new playable Superstars, headlined by two eras of Cena himself: the WrestleMania 41 version and the throwback “Doctor of Thuganomics” persona that made him a cultural phenomenon in the early 2000s. Joining the lineup is an updated Brock Lesnar—complete with cowboy hat and long hair—and the hilarious but heartfelt debut of “Ron Cena” (R-Truth), inspired by his long-running parody of his “childhood hero.”

Players will also get five exclusive John Cena Farewell Tour tee shirt cosmetics, rounding out the content with nostalgic flair.

Three Versions for the True Cenation Faithful

The Farewell Tour Edition comes in three tiers:

  • 💥 WWE 2K25 Farewell Tour Edition ($149.99) – Includes the Farewell Tour Pack, Bloodline Edition Bonus Pack, WrestleMania 41 Pack, Ringside Pass (Season Pass), and exclusive Wyatt Sicks and Undertaker Deadman Edition Bonus Packs. Fans also receive a massive VC boost and extra cosmetic content on next-gen consoles.
  • 🔥 WWE 2K25 Farewell Tour Bundle ($89.99) – Includes the Farewell Tour Pack and the WWE 2K25 Standard Edition.
  • 🎮 WWE 2K25 Farewell Tour Edition Pack ($14.99) – Standalone DLC featuring Brock Lesnar, “Ron Cena,” WrestleMania 41 Cena, and Dr. of Thuganomics Cena.

👉 Purchase Directly From 2K

2K describes this release as a “tribute to the incomparable John Cena,” celebrating his final chapter while revisiting the moments that built his GOAT status—from freestyle battles in the Ruthless Aggression Era to his record-breaking title wins.

Cena’s Last Run — In-Game and In Reality

Cena is currently in the middle of his Farewell Tour, with his final WWE match expected at the 2025 Survivor Series or WrestleMania 42. WWE 2K25’s new edition mirrors that emotion, giving fans a chance to relive his defining rivalries and personas one last time.

The inclusion of Lesnar and R-Truth’s “Ron Cena” character adds both weight and humor to the sendoff, offering a mix of legacy and levity that perfectly fits Cena’s career.

As the official WWE 2K account posted:

“You can’t see him… but you can play him in every era. Celebrate 20+ years of greatness in #WWE2K25 Farewell Tour Edition.”

Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

It’s hard to overstate what John Cena means to the WWE 2K franchise — and professional wrestling as a whole. From “Word Life” to “Never Give Up,” Cena has been the face of an era, and this edition feels like a genuine love letter from both 2K and WWE.

The “Farewell Tour Edition” isn’t just another DLC drop — it’s a playable time capsule of Cena’s evolution from hungry upstart to all-time legend. Expect this pack to dominate Twitch streams, fan tributes, and MyFACTION builds in the coming weeks.

If this is truly Cena’s digital curtain call, he’s leaving the virtual ring the same way he entered it — as the hardest-working Superstar in the game.
