In a jaw-dropping endorsement that left fans buzzing, Cody Rhodes didn’t just praise Logan Paul — he all but guaranteed a future WWE World Title reign for the viral megastar.

Appearing on the Bill Simmons Podcast, Rhodes spoke candidly about the United States Champion’s shocking rise in the wrestling world. When asked if he felt any resentment toward Paul’s rapid success, Cody was brutally honest:

“No. If he had just stepped in and was immediately that good, I’d be furious,” he admitted.
“But he’s one of the hardest working people I’ve ever seen… He took it as seriously as anybody ever.”

Then came the swerve nobody expected — Rhodes predicted championship gold is not just possible for Logan Paul... it's inevitable.

“I have a feeling he is going to end up being World Champion or WWE Champion at some point,” Cody declared.
“The internet will explode and we’ll be fine. He is very special.”

He didn't stop there, either:

“As legitimate a prick as you can meet,” Cody quipped with a grin, “but I love having him on the team. He’s a massive asset to WWE.”

This shocking praise comes just 24 hours after Paul and Drew McIntyre defeated Randy Orton and Jelly Roll in a SummerSlam Night One blockbuster — a tag match that blurred the lines between wrestling and pop culture like never before.

🎙️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

Cody isn’t throwing around empty hype — this is a signal flare. Word backstage is that Logan Paul has impressed everyone, not just for his athleticism, but for his willingness to train like a lifer. With his social media reach and now-ring credibility, Paul may be WWE’s most valuable outsider since Ronda Rousey — and possibly even bigger.

If Cody’s bold claim proves true, Logan Paul won’t just win a title… he’ll break the internet doing it.
