Queen of Thorns Tournament – First Round

  • Abigail Warren def. Brooke Havok
The night opened with Abigail Warren’s aggressive technical style overpowering Brooke Havok’s agility. Warren advanced with a decisive pinfall after a vicious running knee strike.
  • Amira def. Naomi King
Amira’s powerful striking game proved too much for Naomi King, sealing the victory with a picture-perfect frog splash.
  • Kel def. Murphy Madsen
Kel showcased her hybrid grappling, countering Madsen’s size advantage and finishing with a submission for the win.
  • Liiza Hall def. Big Anne Beretta
Hall relied on her veteran ring IQ to outmaneuver the powerhouse Beretta, scoring the upset with a roll-up out of nowhere.
  • Su Yung def. Kikyo
The “Undead Bride” Su Yung brought her trademark mind games, luring Kikyo into a trap before hitting the Panic Switch for the three-count.
  • Dark Sheik def. Izzy McQueen
In a clash of charisma and grit, Dark Sheik’s experience carried her past McQueen in a highly competitive match.

Queen of Thorns Tournament – Semi-Finals (Triple Threats)

  • Kel def. Abigail Warren & Su Yung
In a chaotic three-way battle, Kel survived both Warren’s precision and Su Yung’s unpredictable offense, hitting a springboard cutter on Warren for the win.
  • Amira def. Dark Sheik & Liiza Hall
Amira powered through a grueling contest, capitalizing on Sheik and Hall wearing each other down before landing her spinning backfist for the victory.

DOA Tag Team Championship

  • Flamin’ Aces (Spencer Scott & Zaye Perez) (c) def. Heartbreaker Club (Zelda Foxx & Lucy Lux)
The champs retained in thrilling fashion, with Scott and Perez combining speed and double-team precision to overcome the challengers. The Heartbreaker Club came close, but the Aces’ superkick–brainbuster combo sealed the win.

Queen of Thorns Tournament Finals

  • Amira def. Kel
In a dramatic conclusion to the night, Amira and Kel battled for the crown in a match filled with counters, near falls, and pure intensity. Amira ultimately secured the victory with her devastating frog splash, cementing her place as the 2025 Queen of Thorns.

Wrestling.news | Backstage Take:
DOA’s Queen of Thorns has solidified itself as one of the most anticipated women’s tournaments on the indie scene, and this year was no exception. Amira’s run was nothing short of dominant, proving she can go toe-to-toe with both veteran names and rising stars. Kel’s performance shouldn’t be overlooked either — she wrestled three matches in one night and came within a breath of taking the crown. With indie women’s wrestling hotter than ever, expect both finalists to be in high demand across promotions in the coming months.
