Former WWE & AEW Star Paige (Saraya) Names Rhea Ripley, Mercedes Moné & Natalya as Dream Opponents — Is a Return Incoming?

Former WWE Divas Champion and AEW standout Saraya — known to millions as Paige — may be taking a breather from the ring, but she’s already teasing some serious fantasy matchups for her inevitable return.
In a candid interview on Insight, the English wrestling icon revealed her top dream opponents and even teased a potential tag team that fans would lose their minds over.
“I always get Rhea [Ripley] to either be a tag team partner — the original goth sister to now, the ultimate goth sister,” Saraya said with a laugh. “So I'd love to be in a team with her or wrestle her, because that’s what people want.”
She didn’t stop there. Saraya also named Mercedes Moné (fka Sasha Banks) and her longtime frenemy Natalya as potential dance partners for a comeback showdown. While she’s faced both in WWE, the door remains wide open for fresh storylines — especially with Moné now dominating AEW and NJPW.
“I’d love to wrestle Mercedes down the line, because it’s a built-in storyline,” Saraya said. “And probably Nattie again. I’ve wrestled her a billion times, but oh my god, I love Nattie.”
Saraya never got the chance to face Rhea Ripley before her initial retirement, but fans have long drawn parallels between the two — both powerful performers with goth-glam personas and massive fan followings. A matchup between the “old-school goth” and “new-school goth” might just be the dream bout fans didn’t know they needed.
For now, Saraya is enjoying time away from the spotlight, but she made one thing clear: she's not done. A WWE return remains a real possibility — and the roster she helped shape may be her proving ground one more time.

Saraya is a walking comeback story — and the names she’s throwing out aren’t just fantasy bookings; they’re headline-makers. Ripley, Moné, and Natalya represent different eras, but they all share one thing: big-match energy. The potential of “Goth Queens United” or a revenge arc with Mercedes Moné could be the kind of buzz that electrifies WWE or AEW again. She’s not done — just reloading.
