“He Screwed Up Our Main Event” — Drew McIntyre Blasts Travis Scott Over WrestleMania Flop

The road to SummerSlam is heating up — and so are the opinions flying out of the WWE locker room.

During a no-holds-barred appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Drew McIntyre took aim at Travis Scott, blaming the rapper for botching the main event of WrestleMania 41 and accusing him of not respecting the business.

“Do a six-minute run-in at WrestleMania and screw up our damn main event. Travis Scott. Piece of sht,”* McIntyre said bluntly, making it clear that patience with outsiders in WWE is wearing thin.

🥊 Celebrity Invasion: Not Everyone's Welcome

This comes just weeks ahead of McIntyre’s SummerSlam tag team clash, where he’ll join forces with Logan Paul to face Randy Orton and rising country-rap crossover star Jelly Roll — who’s been training at the WWE Performance Center for the past month.

While Logan praised Jelly Roll’s effort, he was quick to draw the line between legitimate athletes and celebrity walk-ons.

“I came in as a lifelong athlete… it’s a little insulting that a celebrity thinks they can come into the business, get the green room, and fly on the jet,” Paul said.
“No disrespect to Jelly Roll outside of WWE. But inside WWE? I fully intend to disrespect him a lot.”

McIntyre followed up with sharp sarcasm about Jelly Roll’s “athletic background,” mocking the idea that a couple weeks of training is enough to earn ring respect.

🚫 WWE Pulls Plug on Travis Scott Plans

McIntyre’s frustration reflects a larger sentiment in WWE’s inner circle. Following Travis Scott’s awkward WrestleMania cameo — which reportedly disrupted timing and flow — WWE has officially dropped all plans to transition the rap star into an in-ring performer.

While Scott had been featured on WWE programming, including the Monday Night Raw debut on Netflix and a teased heel turn segment with John Cena, insiders say the rapper "struggled to pick up the business" and WWE leadership "ran out of patience."

Drew McIntyre said the quiet part loud — not all celebrities belong inside a WWE ring. While Logan Paul and Bad Bunny earned their spot through hard work and surprising skill, Travis Scott’s messy WrestleMania cameo may have set a new standard for how not to cross over. With SummerSlam looming and Jelly Roll in the crosshairs, expect this celebrity vs. superstar dynamic to play out in the ring — and not everyone’s walking out with their ego intact.
