Heading into WWE Raw: Adam Pearce Labeled a “Bald-Headed Tyrant” by WWE Superstar

The tension between The New Day and WWE official Adam Pearce has reached new heights, and tonight’s Raw in Springfield, Massachusetts, could be explosive.
Woods Falls, Kofi Steps Up
It started on August 18 when Xavier Woods squared off against Penta on Raw in Philadelphia. The match ended brutally, with Woods taking a devastating Mexican Destroyer. He was later spotted in a neck brace and blasted Adam Pearce on social media for failing to ban the maneuver.
Woods didn’t hold back in his fiery statement:
“Our jobs are very dangerous, but precautions are taken to make sure that we are as safe as possible. But unfortunately, this past Monday I suffered a debilitating injury due to the irresponsibility of one Adam Pearce… He sent his masked mercenary to attempt to shatter every bone in my neck.”
Things escalated further on September 1, when Woods teamed with Grayson Waller and Kofi Kingston against Penta and The War Raiders. Once again, Penta landed the Mexican Destroyer — this time with Woods on the receiving end for a second straight week.
Pearce vs. New Day
Now, it’s Kingston’s turn. Tonight, Kofi Kingston goes one-on-one with Penta, but he isn’t happy about the booking. Kingston fired off a frustrated message on X, ripping into Pearce:
“What in the Hell?! I already beat @PENTAELZEROM! Just 3 short days after a gruelling title match at #WorldsCollide & I have to face this Cacodemon AGAIN?! Why would @ScrapDaddyAP book this match when I’m clearly not back to full strength?! That Bald-Headed Tyrant has gone too far!”

The remarks echo Woods’ anger, with The New Day portraying Pearce as deliberately targeting them while refusing to give them their long-requested Tag Team Championship rematch.
High Stakes for Kingston
Kingston and Waller recently fell short against Pagano and Psycho Clown for the AAA World Tag Team Titles at Worlds Collide, and now Kofi heads into Raw carrying momentum issues of his own. The bigger question is whether Kingston will share the same fate as Woods — or if he’ll finally bring Penta’s reign of chaos to a halt.

Tonight’s Kingston vs. Penta clash is more than a singles bout — it’s the latest chapter in an ongoing storyline that’s starting to resonate with fans frustrated by Pearce’s “corporate control.” The New Day has always thrived as underdog heroes fighting against authority, and Pearce has become the perfect foil.
Penta, meanwhile, continues to look like one of Raw’s most dangerous threats. If Kingston falls victim to another Mexican Destroyer, this feud could shift from being about wins and losses to survival itself. Expect tonight’s match to play heavily into WWE’s road to Wrestlepalooza, with The New Day either rallying back — or collapsing under Pearce’s so-called tyranny.
