Health Scare Sidelines Chelsea Green, Forcing Last-Minute WWE SmackDown Shake-Up

A sudden medical emergency sent WWE Superstar Chelsea Green to the hospital, causing her to miss a crucial qualifying match and leading to an unexpected scramble on Friday Night SmackDown.
Initially, WWE explained Chelsea Green's absence from the June 13th episode of SmackDown with a storyline angle. Viewers saw Green on a video call from a poolside, demanding that General Manager Nick Aldis postpone her scheduled Queen of the Ring qualifying match against Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Candice LeRae. When her demands were denied, her "Secret Service" member, Alba Fyre, was announced as her replacement.
The 34-year-old was reportedly dealing with a severe sinus infection that led to a frightening loss of hearing, necessitating a visit to the emergency room.
Green made her return to the blue brand the following week, where she faced Charlotte Flair in a one-on-one contest, ultimately coming up short.
Looking ahead, Green is already pitching ambitious matches for the recently announced "WWE Evolution 2" premium live event. During an appearance on the Lightweights Podcast, she expressed interest in a high-stakes "Loser Leaves Canada" match against fellow Canadians and WWE Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Natalya.
Never one to shy away from a spectacle, Green also threw down a bold challenge to another WWE Hall of Famer, Nikki Bella. "Me vs. Nikki Bella," she proposed. "I would love to do a me versus Nikki Bella Hair vs. Hair Match. One of us gets our head shaved. One of us ends up with a peanut head."
Currently, the only officially announced match for "Evolution 2" is an NXT Women's Championship bout between titleholder Jacy Jayne and challenger Jordynne Grace.
