Hulk Hogan’s Wife Shuts Down Rumors, Reveals Intense Spine Surgery Recovery

The legend is down—but far from out.
After recent online buzz stirred fears that WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was battling life-threatening complications following back surgery, both his wife Sky Hogan and longtime friend Eric Bischoff are setting the record straight: The Hulkster is healing—and ready to leg drop the rumors.
Hogan, 70, has endured more than ten brutal back surgeries across decades of body-slamming glory, and last month he underwent another intense procedure: a four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) — a serious operation meant to address major nerve issues affecting his neck and hands.
Bischoff recently told fans that the surgery already showed promising results:
“He had issues with feeling in his hands. He came out of anesthesia, and boom—feeling was back. He’s excited.”
As online speculation spiraled into full-blown internet hysteria, Bischoff slammed the false narratives:
“The family gathering in the hospital? Total bulls**t. He’ll kick out, like he always does.”
Hogan’s wife Sky Hogan, replying directly to concerned fans on Instagram, also clapped back at rumors claiming the wrestling icon had suffered a coma or cardiac emergency:
“No, he’s definitely not in a coma! His heart is strong. No lack of oxygen, no brain damage — none of those rumors are true.”
“There’s no need for the drama or panic people are trying to stir up. He’s healing. We’re taking it one day at a time with love, strength, and patience.”
Hogan married Sky, his third wife, in September 2023. The two remain side-by-side through what’s easily one of the Hulkster’s toughest matches yet.
Hogan's last X post was on April 30, 2025, he hasn't been very active on social media.
