Hulk Hogan’s Wrestling League Strikes Streaming Deal with Fox Nation — Real American Freestyle Launches August 30

It was only a matter of time. Hulk Hogan is storming back into the spotlight — not in wrestling boots, but behind the scenes of a new combat sports venture. For a man who’s built a career off of red-and-yellow charisma and never truly left the public eye, staying off the mic for long was never in the cards. And where Hogan goes, you can bet Eric Bischoff isn’t far behind — the duo thrives on showmanship, and Real American Freestyle may be their next grand stage. While Hogan may not be taking bumps anymore, don’t be surprised if he grabs a mic, hypes a match, or even opens the show — because if history has taught us anything, the Hulkster always finds his way back to the hard cam.

Fox Nation, the subscription-based streaming arm of Fox News, has officially secured exclusive streaming rights to Real American Freestyle (RAF), a new wrestling league co-founded by Hogan, Eric Bischoff, and Chad Bronstein.

The platform will stream RAF01, the league’s inaugural event, live on August 30 from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio, with a second event already greenlit for this fall.

🎥 A Patriotic, Hard-Hitting Launch

Described by Fox Nation as “an exhilarating experience packed with action and immersive show atmosphere,” Real American Freestyle promises a fusion of Olympic-style freestyle wrestling with big-show production energy — fitting for names like Hogan and Bischoff behind the scenes.

The commentary team is just as star-studded, featuring WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, MMA icon Chael Sonnen, and freestyle wrestling star Bubba Jenkins.

🧨 RAF01 Fight Card Highlights:

  • Bo Nickal vs. Jacob Cardenas
  • Yianni Diakomihalis vs. Bajrang Punia
  • Darrion Caldwell vs. Real Woods
  • Austin Gomez vs. Lance Palmer
  • Kennedy Blades vs. Alejandra Rivera
  • Sarah Hildebrandt vs. Zeltzin Hernandez

Bronstein, who also serves as CEO of RAF, emphasized the significance of the deal in a press statement:

“The Fox Nation partnership will create a platform the athletes deserve and bring freestyle wrestling to our fans at home.”

This marks Fox Nation’s second major live sports deal, following its recent rights acquisition for Professional Bull Riders (PBR) — signaling a broader push into live arena sports.

🎤 MainEvent.News | Backstage Take

Hulk Hogan’s new wrestling venture may not be another pro wrestling federation — but don’t let that fool you. RAF is aiming to inject entertainment value into traditional freestyle wrestling, and Fox Nation’s involvement gives it a legit launchpad. With names like Kurt Angle and Chael Sonnen on commentary, and real Olympic and collegiate talent on the mat, this could quietly become one of the more innovative combat sports brands to watch. Expect red, white, and blue — with a whole lot of real.
