Limitless Wrestling | Vacationland Cup 2025 Results - August 09, 2025: Hardy Boyz Steal the Show & Tommy Dreamer Brings Hardcore Chaos

Lewiston, ME – Limitless Wrestling delivered one of its most action-packed nights of the year with Vacationland Cup 2025, streaming on IWTV and YouTube. A mix of legends, champions, and rising stars made this a can’t-miss event, capped off by a thrilling main event featuring the TNA World Tag Team Champions, Matt & Jeff Hardy, and a wild six-man war with Hardcore Icon Tommy Dreamer.

Vacationland Cup Opening Round Highlights

  • Aaron Rourke def. Alec Price – The “Dime Piece” survived the relentless offense of Price, countering the Grand Prize DDT and SurPrize Kick before sealing the win with the Double Rainbow to advance to the finals.
  • Anthony Greene def. Conan Lycan (DQ) – A controversial finish saw Lycan disqualified after a planted chain incident involving J-Heru, despite never actually using the weapon. Greene moved on, but Lycan made a post-match statement with a knockout chain shot and a 450 splash.
  • Gabby Forza def. B3CCA (w/ Ban Ban & Bear Bear) – Forza powered through B3CCA’s interference-heavy offense, forcing a tap-out in a decisive win that had the Portland crowd firmly behind her.
  • Aiden Aggro (w/ J-Heru) def. Ace Romero – Despite a monster showing from Romero, interference and a steel chair to the head gave Aggro the win.

Championship Shake-Up

  • Dezmond Cole def. Channing Thomas (c) – NEW Limitless Wrestling World Champion – In an emotional bout, Cole overcame Thomas’ underhanded tactics to reclaim the title, capitalizing on a belt counter for the win.

Hardcore Meets Chaos

  • Bear Bronson, Seabass Finn & Tommy Dreamer def. The System (Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards & JDC) – The post-intermission clash went off the rails fast, spilling into the crowd and playing perfectly to Dreamer’s hardcore instincts. Bronson’s double chokeslam on Myers sealed the victory in one of the night’s loudest moments.

Legends Collide in Comic Relief

  • Tony Atlas def. Sidney Bakabella – After winning an arm wrestling challenge, Atlas dispatched Bakabella with a sleeper hold in a lighthearted throwback match.

Vacationland Cup Finals

  • Aaron Rourke def. Gabby Forza, Anthony Greene & Aiden Aggro – In an elimination format, Rourke overcame two Bakabella Family members to claim the 2025 Vacationland Cup, setting up a September title clash with Dezmond Cole at Limitless Wrestling’s 10th Anniversary Show.

Main Event – Tag Team Dream Match

  • The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff Hardy) def. Swipe Right (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) – Wrestling royalty met rising stars in a fast-paced, crowd-pleasing finale. Interference from Miss Susannah was cut short by host Jon Alba, allowing the Hardys to unleash their greatest hits — double Twist of Fate, Swanton Bomb — for the win.

🗣️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

Vacationland Cup 2025 was everything indie wrestling should be — a showcase of homegrown talent, star power, and unpredictable energy. Aaron Rourke’s big win sets the stage for a fresh main event feud, while Dezmond Cole’s return to the top is a feel-good moment Limitless fans have been waiting for. And seeing the Hardy Boyz in person? That’s the kind of draw that turns casual fans into lifers. Oh, and Tommy Dreamer? Still hardcore, still chaos, still The Innovator of Violence.
