MJF Marries Alicia Atout in Private Ceremony, Several AEW Stars in Attendance (PHOTOS)
AEW star Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) has officially married Canadian interviewer and media personality Alicia Atout in what was described as a private ceremony earlier this week.
The newlyweds shared the news through social media, where MJF posted a heartfelt caption referencing his new chapter in life:
“Even when I’m old and grey I’m gonna feel the way I do today. The death of a bachelor.”

The death of a bachelor.
The couple’s relationship became public nearly two years ago, and their engagement was celebrated widely among both wrestling and entertainment circles. Before his relationship with Atout, the former AEW World Champion had been engaged to artist Naomi Rosenblum, with the split finalized in early 2023.
AEW broadcaster Taz offered congratulations on X (formerly Twitter), writing:
“Big congrats to @The_MJF & @AliciaAtout on their marriage! Wish them nothing but a lifetime of happiness! 🥂”

🗣️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
For a man who built his brand on arrogance and venom, this softer side of MJF shows another dimension fans rarely see. Marrying Alicia Atout — a respected figure in wrestling media — is not only a personal milestone but also a moment that humanizes one of wrestling’s most polarizing performers. As he embarks on this next chapter, it will be fascinating to see how MJF balances his brash in-ring persona with his very real, very public personal life.
