More Details on AEW Officially Announcing Adam Page vs. Kyle Fletcher for the World Championship at All Out

We previously reported that Kyle Fletcher had thrown down the challenge for the AEW World Championship, but now it’s official: Adam Page will defend his title against Fletcher at All Out on September 20.
The announcement came live on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite. The show opened with Page defeating Josh Alexander of The Don Callis Family with a decisive Buckshot Lariat. But the victory was short-lived—Fletcher stepped into the ring to demand an answer to his challenge.
Page gave the young star credit for his growth in AEW, but made it clear that if Fletcher wants a shot at the richest prize in the company, he’ll have to do it alone—without help from Don Callis or his stable. Fletcher accepted the terms on the spot, and later in the broadcast the commentary team confirmed the match as official for All Out.
This marks a massive opportunity for Fletcher, who already holds the TNT Championship after defeating Dustin Rhodes. A victory at All Out would make him a double champion in AEW, solidifying his rise from promising tag team wrestler in New Japan’s United Empire to one of the company’s top singles stars.
AEW All Out Card Continues to Stack Up
In addition to Page vs. Fletcher, AEW All Out is shaping up to be one of the company’s biggest shows of the year. Other announced matches include:
- Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley in a Coffin Match
- FTR vs. Adam Copeland & Christian Cage
- Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Thekla vs. Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s World Championship
- The Hurt Syndicate & Gates of Agony vs. Ricochet and partners in a Trios clash

This is a fascinating test for AEW’s booking. Kyle Fletcher has been red-hot since stepping up as a singles star, and giving him a world title shot on one of the biggest stages is a smart move. But with Adam Page freshly back in the spotlight, it feels unlikely AEW will pull the trigger on a title change here. Still, Fletcher could walk away a made man—especially if he proves he can hang with “Hangman” without The Don Callis Family in his corner.
