Piper Niven, best known as the powerhouse “Slaygent” in Chelsea Green’s Secret Hervice act, is officially out of action after suffering an undisclosed injury. While WWE has yet to reveal the exact nature or severity of the setback, Fightful Select has confirmed through company sources that Niven is currently sidelined.

Niven last appeared in the ring on the August 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, where she notched an impressive victory over Charlotte Flair. Just weeks later, on the September 19 edition of SmackDown, Chelsea Green was forced to enlist Alba Fyre as her partner — a temporary replacement for Niven’s usual on-screen role.

Chelsea Green has leaned into the storyline on social media, jokingly calling for “stand-ins” for her Secret Hervice security squad while her muscle recovers. Still, the absence of Niven is a noticeable blow, as she had been carving out a consistent spot for herself on the blue brand.

This isn’t the first time Niven has faced adversity outside the ring. She’s previously battled through Bell’s Palsy, showing resilience and determination throughout her career. Fans will now wait for updates on her recovery timeline and whether she’ll return in time to rejoin Green for upcoming fall storylines.

🎙️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

Piper Niven was quietly becoming one of the most dependable supporting players on SmackDown. Her presence gave Chelsea Green’s act legitimacy, and her win over Charlotte Flair hinted at WWE’s willingness to test her at a higher level. Losing her now — especially with Survivor Series season approaching — forces WWE to shuffle the deck. While Alba Fyre is a suitable fill-in, the chemistry and intimidation factor that Niven brought can’t be easily replicated. The locker room knows Piper’s toughness; if history is any indication, expect her to fight her way back quicker than most.
