Report: AEW All In Texas Attendance, Funding, and Surprising New Details Revealed

New information has surfaced about AEW’s All In Texas event — including the real attendance numbers, government reimbursements, and even some scrapped crossover plans.

According to a new report from Wrestlenomics, AEW’s All In Texas drew a total attendance of 23,759, with 21,973 tickets scanned for fans who actually entered the venue at Globe Life Field in Arlington on July 12, 2025. The remaining difference likely includes staff, crew, and credentialed personnel.

While the number marks another strong turnout for AEW’s growing All In brand, it’s notably below the original projections. The Texas governor’s office had approved just over $1 million in combined state and local funding for the event — a common incentive program used for major sports and entertainment draws. However, due to the lower turnout, AEW is now expected to receive closer to $700,000 in reimbursements toward event expenses.

Arlington City Manager Trey Yelverton confirmed the figure, noting that the final payment amount was adjusted based on verified attendance.

Interestingly, internal documentation also revealed that AEW’s original All In Texas week was set to include NJPW and CMLL events, along with a Chris Jericho/Fozzy/Swerve Strickland concert — plans that were ultimately scrapped before the final card was locked in.

AEW All In Texas might not have shattered attendance records, but it proved the brand’s staying power outside of its UK stronghold. Drawing nearly 22,000 paid fans without relying on heavy international crossover talent or a stacked supercard is still a financial win — even if public funding adjustments trimmed the total reimbursement.

The shelved NJPW and CMLL involvement could’ve made All In Texas feel more global, but the standalone AEW production showed confidence in its own star power. Expect Tony Khan’s team to revisit those crossover ideas for future All In weekends, especially if they return to an open-air stadium setup.
