Seth Rollins’ Mysterious WWE Faction Gets a Name — And It’s Powerful

For months, WWE fans have speculated about the name of the powerful new alliance formed by The Visionary Seth Rollins and WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman. Now, it seems the wait is over.

After shocking the WWE Universe by turning on Roman Reigns and CM Punk at WrestleMania, Heyman aligned with Rollins and began assembling a dominant new force. With Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed added to the mix on RAW, the faction has quickly become one of the most imposing on the roster.

But what are they officially called?

On last week’s Monday Night RAW, Heyman—now going by The Oracle—may have finally let the name slip. During an opening promo segment, the legendary manager repeatedly referred to the group as “The Empire.” No formal announcement was made, but the repeated use of the name strongly suggests that’s the official identity of the Rollins-led stable.

LA Knight Set to Battle Seth Rollins at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

The tensions between LA Knight and Rollins’ faction have been heating up ever since Money in the Bank, and now it’s coming to a head. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, LA Knight will go one-on-one with The Visionary in a grudge match fans won’t want to miss.

This past RAW, LA Knight surprised Rollins with a brutal attack, sending a clear message. On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts voiced his belief that Knight should walk away with the victory:

“If LA Knight beats Seth Rollins this Saturday—and I think he should—then if Rollins captures the World Heavyweight Title later, Knight can say, ‘I beat you. I deserve a shot.’”

Could this match set the stage for a future championship feud? With The Empire growing stronger and LA Knight looking to cement his status as The Megastar, Saturday’s clash could have major implications for WWE’s main event scene.
