Shayna Baszler & Other Former WWE Stars Announced For House of Glory Superclash

The independent wrestling scene just got a major injection of star power. Shayna Baszler and Andrade have officially been announced for House of Glory’s Superclash on Saturday, November 15, in Long Island, New York. The event will be held at the Suffolk Credit Union Arena in Brentwood, running in collaboration with the Big Event Entertainment and Sports Expo.
Baszler Steps Back Into the Spotlight
Baszler, 45, will be making her House of Glory debut at Superclash, though her opponent has yet to be named. This appearance comes on the heels of her return to in-ring action on October 5 at Prestige Wrestling in Portland, Oregon, where she faces Dani Luna in what will be her first match in nearly six months.
Following her release from WWE in May, Baszler has kept fans guessing about her next move. While WWE reportedly has interest in bringing her back as a coach or producer, no formal agreement has been reached. Her brief appearance at NXT’s Homecoming special in September reminded fans of her impact on the black-and-gold brand — and now she’s ready to carve her next chapter on the indie circuit.

Andrade Returns to the Indies
Also confirmed for Superclash is former WWE and AEW star Andrade, who will be making his own HOG debut. Tickets for the event went on sale September 23, and demand has already been high with Andrade’s name attached.
This marks Andrade’s second announced post-WWE appearance. He is also scheduled to wrestle for The Crash on October 3 in Tijuana, Mexico. His return to the independent scene follows a turbulent end to his second WWE run, which began with a surprise appearance in the 2024 Royal Rumble.
While speculation swirls regarding his exit, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Andrade’s release stemmed from a disciplinary issue at a WWE TV shoot. Meltzer noted it was “not drug related, not alcohol related, not marriage related,” but serious enough for the company to send him home and ultimately move on.

🎙️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
House of Glory is stacking the deck for Superclash, and it couldn’t come at a better time. Baszler’s return to indie wrestling is a fascinating development — she’s always thrived in gritty, hard-hitting environments, and HOG fans are going to embrace that style instantly. Andrade, meanwhile, brings international star power and will no doubt draw a crowd eager to see him free from WWE constraints.
This isn’t just about two big names joining an indie card — it’s a reminder of how vibrant the independent wrestling scene remains. With WWE and AEW constantly shifting their rosters, promotions like HOG benefit by offering fans marquee talent in more intimate venues. November 15 already feels like one of the biggest shows in HOG’s history.
