The “Billion Dollar Princess” stepped back into the spotlight this weekend — but not in the way fans expected.

WWE confirmed ahead of the event that Stephanie McMahon-Levesque would appear on the “Countdown to WWE SummerSlam 2025” pre-show, and sure enough, she made her presence felt inside MetLife Stadium on Saturday.

🎙️ From Executive to Podcaster

Stephanie’s appearance centered around promoting her new show, “What’s Your Story with Steph McMahon,” which was spotlighted during the pre-show broadcast. A video package aired teasing her recent sit-down interview with country music star Jelly Roll, followed by a quick graphic reveal: Stephanie would be live in the stadium later in the show.

And she delivered.

Joined by Big E and Jackie Redmond high atop MetLife’s upper levels, Stephanie gave fans a taste of what her podcast offers — personal, reflective interviews with a new generation of WWE and celebrity voices.

She also teased a new upcoming episode featuring Big E, calling it a “must-see” conversation that’s already been taped and will debut soon.

🎬 Wrestling.News | Backstage Take

Stephanie McMahon didn’t just return for nostalgia — she returned with a media strategy. WWE’s expansion into personality-driven content like “What’s Your Story” shows how the company is evolving past the ring and into longform storytelling. Stephanie’s polished presence, especially alongside newer voices like Big E, signals a shift in how WWE bridges its corporate leadership with its fanbase. It also doesn’t hurt that her subtle return to the screen had fans buzzing — is it a one-off? Or the beginning of something more?
