TNA Re-Airs Slammiversary 2025 & Fade To Black Tonight — But Can It Steal Attention From AEW Dynamite?

If you missed TNA Slammiversary 2025 or the unique follow-up documentary Fade to Black, you’ve got another chance to catch them both for free tonight.
TNA announced that the pay-per-view and its cinematic companion piece will re-air back-to-back starting at 7pm ET across the company’s FAST channels. That includes Fubo, DirecTV, Plex, YouTube TV, Comcast, Roku, PlutoTV, Samsung TV Plus, and even TNA’s official YouTube channel. Fans will also have 48 hours to stream both shows on-demand.
The decision to re-air Slammiversary is interesting timing. The replay kicks off an hour before the final AEW Dynamite before Forbidden Door, which airs at 8pm ET on TBS and HBO MAX. It’s another example of how WWE and TNA seem to be counter-programming AEW in different ways. This week alone has been stacked—WWE is running NXT Heatwave opposite AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door this Sunday, and now TNA is throwing Slammiversary back into the spotlight to compete for fan eyeballs right before Dynamite.
Fan Reaction: Ruthless & Unfiltered
Wrestling fans have not held back in their response to TNA airing Slammiversary opposite AEW’s go-home Dynamite before Forbidden Door. Social media was filled with cutting remarks:
- “Rip TNA for trying to test the waters.”
- “RIP @ThisIsTNA — @AEW about to kill what last bit of TNA is left! You wanted a war, you got it! WWE will buy you out soon.”
- “Who?”
- “Stay the F** off Wednesdays, clown a** company.”*
- “It’s the go-home Dynamite before FD. I’m watching that.”
It’s clear many fans see this as a risky move, with AEW’s red-hot Dynamite lead-in dominating the conversation.

Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
TNA has been smart about leveraging Slammiversary’s momentum, but the re-air timing is no coincidence. Running two major shows back-to-back for free across streaming platforms on the same night AEW loads up Dynamite before one of its biggest pay-per-views is yet another sign that the battle for Wednesday nights isn’t slowing down. With WWE also taking swings by stacking its schedule opposite AEW, the “all directions” pressure is real. Still, the benefit for fans is undeniable: more content, more choice, and more reasons to debate which show grabs the most attention heading into the weekend.
