Undertaker Sends a Chilling Message to Trick Williams After NXT Showdown

The Deadman rose again — and Trick Williams found out the hard way.
During a fiery WWE NXT segment in Houston, TNA World Champion Trick Williams boldly stepped to The Undertaker, calling him out in front of a live crowd and questioning his toughness, his legacy — and even his Next Gen prospects in WWE’s LFG program.
But Trick’s mouth cashed a check that his jaw couldn’t cover.
After claiming The Undertaker had “gone soft” and bragging about his Slammiversary win, Trick took it a step further:
“Ain’t nobody in WWE a superstar like me... and I got no problem calling out The Undertaker.”
Cue the gong.
Cue the crowd explosion.
Cue the American Badass entrance.
Undertaker didn’t just show up — he pulled no punches. He acknowledged Trick’s rise, his hunger, and his potential, but warned that ego would be his downfall.
“You’ve got all the tools... but with that attitude? It’s not a matter of if — just when you lose that title.”
When Trick took a swing, The Deadman caught him mid-strike and drilled him with a Chokeslam, standing tall to end the segment.
🧵 The Aftermath: Taker Shows Respect… But Draws the Line
Later on X (formerly Twitter), The Undertaker gave Trick Williams his due — but didn’t hold back from throwing a little shade:
“Last night wasn’t your night @_trickwilliams, but the future is there for your taking. It was a pleasure sharing the ring with you… now go get yours, young man — just leave my LFG team alone!”

Meanwhile, backstage after the show, Taker offered advice to rising NXT star Je’Von Evans, encouraging him to keep chasing the “biggest dog in the yard” — a clear nod to NXT Champion Oba Femi. Could a future title chase be forming?
🧠 MainEvent.News | Backstage Take:
The Undertaker isn’t just a legend — he’s the conscience of the company. Trick Williams may have fire and gold, but Taker reminded him that greatness isn’t just about clout, it’s about respect. This wasn’t just a beatdown — it was a warning shot to any rising star who forgets who paved the road to superstardom.
