Why Brock Lesnar May Never Return to WWE — Former Star Weighs In

Why Brock Lesnar May Never Return to WWE — Former Star Weighs In

It’s been nearly two years since Brock Lesnar last set foot in a WWE ring — and now, new claims suggest his epic return could depend on one major condition.

The Beast Incarnate hasn’t competed since his hard-hitting loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. Since then, Lesnar has kept a low profile — largely due to being named in Janel Grant’s high-profile lawsuit against former WWE CEO Vince McMahon.

While Triple H has stated he's “open” to Lesnar’s return if the former multi-time champion wants it, sources suggest there’s far more at play behind the scenes.

Speaking with Inside The Ropes, former WWE Superstar Eugene (Nick Dinsmore) commented on Lesnar’s situation — claiming the lawsuit’s outcome will determine whether Lesnar ever wrestles again.

"I think it depends if anything else comes out. If that’s all that happened, then maybe it gets forgotten,” Eugene explained. “But if more surfaces, it might get messy.”

He compared Lesnar’s situation to Hulk Hogan’s controversy, noting that time may soften public backlash — but only if nothing new emerges.

Marc Mero Opens Up About Brock & Sable Affair

Adding another layer to Lesnar’s complicated narrative, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Marc Mero recently spoke about his ex-wife Sable and her real-life relationship with Lesnar.

In a candid conversation on Wrestling Life with Ben Veal, Mero discussed his autobiography “Badd to Good”, and reflected on Sable’s affair with Lesnar back in the early 2000s — which ultimately led to their divorce.

“There were great memories, but also a lot of hurt and pain,” Mero shared. “But no animosity. No bitterness. Especially total forgiveness.”

Sable would later marry Lesnar, and the couple remains together today. But Mero’s honesty reminds fans that the stories off-screen often cut as deep as those in the ring.
