WWE Clash in Paris Results - August 31, 2025: Seth Rollins Survives, John Cena Stands Tall, Wyatt Sicks Retain & More

WWE brought its first-ever Premium Live Event to Paris, France inside La Défense Arena, and the atmosphere was electric from start to finish. Over 30,000 fans packed the building to witness a historic night filled with shocking swerves, international drama, and some all-time career moments. From Roman Reigns’ battle with Bronson Reed to John Cena’s farewell tour continuing against Logan Paul, and Seth Rollins clinging onto his World Heavyweight Championship — Clash in Paris delivered an event fans will be talking about for a long time.
Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed
The night opened with “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns squaring off against the powerhouse Bronson Reed. Early on, Reed showed no fear, manhandling Reigns with his signature slams and even flying through the ropes like a freight train. Reigns fought back with Superman Punches and a Samoan Drop from the top rope, but chaos erupted late when Bron Breakker appeared out of nowhere.
Breakker speared Reigns through the announce table and left him laying, setting up the eventual stretcher job to write Roman off for his Hollywood commitments. Still, before the carnage, Reigns managed to hit a perfect spear inside the ring to officially defeat Reed.
Winner: Roman Reigns
THIS IS INSANITY! 🫢

WWE Tag Team Championship: The Wyatt Sicks (c) vs. The Street Profits
The Wyatt Sicks, led by Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy, defended their gold against Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. The Profits were over huge in Paris, with the crowd fully behind them. Dawkins hit an impressive senton bomb and Ford nearly had the match won with a blockbuster followed by a splash.
But the Wyatt Sicks’ dark tactics and teamwork proved too much. Outside interference and their devastating finisher, The Plague, ended the Profits’ hopes of regaining the titles.
Winners: The Wyatt Sicks — still WWE Tag Team Champions

Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Nikki Bella
This battle of eras turned into one of the night’s more physical showdowns. Nikki Bella silenced critics with one of her best performances in years, pushing Becky Lynch to the limit. Bella locked in The Fearless Lock twice and hit a facebuster on the ring steps, nearly capturing the gold.
Ultimately, Becky proved why she calls herself The Man, countering with a pinning combination for the three count.
Winner: Becky Lynch — still Women’s Intercontinental Champion

Sheamus vs. Rusev — Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match
Paris was promised a banger, and these two rivals delivered. Chairs, kendo sticks, and whiskey barrels all came into play. The Celtic Warrior nearly finished it with a Brogue Kick, but Rusev somehow survived.
The Bulgarian Brute snapped, breaking a shillelagh across Sheamus’ back before using the weapon for leverage in a chokehold that forced Sheamus to tap.
Winner: Rusev
BEST. BAR FIGHT. EVER.

John Cena vs. Logan Paul
The most emotional moment of the night came when John Cena stepped into the Paris ring as part of his farewell run. Logan Paul, as expected, proved his athleticism with a swanton, frog splashes, and even his own Five Knuckle Shuffle mockery.
But the veteran Cena absorbed it all and delivered in clutch fashion. After countering a Paul crossbody, Cena connected with two Attitude Adjustments — the second from the top rope — to secure the win. Cena then celebrated with his wife at ringside, high-fived fans, and saluted celebrities Jelly Roll and Post Malone in attendance.
Winner: John Cena

World Heavyweight Championship Fatal 4-Way: Seth Rollins (c) vs. CM Punk vs. Jey Uso vs. LA Knight
The main event lived up to its billing — chaotic, dramatic, and controversial. All four stars brawled inside the arena and into the crowd, with near-falls piling up. LA Knight risked it all with a missed dive through the French announce table, Jey Uso hit a Superfly Splash, and CM Punk landed Go To Sleeps.
Then came the twist: a masked figure hit the ring, later revealed as Becky Lynch, shockingly aiding her husband. With Punk stunned, Rollins hit the stomp and retained the championship.
Winner: Seth Rollins — still World Heavyweight Champion

🗣️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
Clash in Paris was historic, but not without controversy. The Wyatt Sicks’ dominance continues to cast a shadow over the tag division. Nikki Bella’s performance reminded fans why she’s a Hall of Famer. John Cena’s emotional win in Paris felt like the proper send-off moment, though Logan Paul solidified himself as more than just a guest attraction. And while Seth Rollins retained, the involvement of Becky Lynch left many fans groaning rather than cheering. WWE promised a “surprise,” but Paris may have deserved better. However there is already speculation that CM Punk also has a "wife" as well, with Big E speculating already on the post-show to Clash in Paris. We will have updates regarding this story, stay locked into www.Wrestling.news.
This show proved once again that international events bring the best energy, and WWE is leaning heavily into spectacle. Paris got a memorable night, even if not every finish hit the mark.
