WWE Confirms Halloween Special SmackDown and Next Saturday Night's Main Event for Nov. 1

WWE is heading back to Utah this fall with a doubleheader at Delta Center:
- Friday Night SmackDown (Halloween Theme) — Fri, Oct. 31, 2025
- Saturday Night’s Main Event — Sat, Nov. 1, 2025
The return is part of a broader TKO slate that also confirms UFC back at Delta Center in 2026, Smith Entertainment Group and TKO Group Holdings announced.
Why it matters
- Two marquee WWE dates in 24 hours positions Salt Lake City as a weekend destination for fans and families—an increasingly common play in the Netflix era, where WWE maximizes travel windows and local economic impact.
- TKO synergy: Utah has quietly become a reliable stop for both brands; the arena’s three straight UFC sellouts (2022–2024) generated $74.1M in regional economic impact and rank among the highest-grossing events in Delta Center history. That momentum helps WWE secure premium dates and production resources.

🗣️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
Utah is becoming a set-piece market for TKO programming. From WWE’s perspective, a SmackDown/SNME back-to-back minimizes load-in costs, guarantees two nights of content from one travel cycle, and lets creative tee up a storyline on Friday, then pay off (or escalate) on Saturday. With UFC locked for 2026, Delta Center is quietly evolving into a western hub where WWE can test presentation tweaks (camera plots, LED packages, premium hospitality) before shipping them to bigger stadium plays. Watch for enhanced on-site content capture and more fan-facing activations around the concourse all weekend.
