A New Chapter in The Bloodline Storyline

The Bloodline saga continues to evolve — and it looks like Solo Sikoa could be stepping into a new identity.

According to a recent trademark filing, WWE has officially registered the phrase “Tribal Heir” for “entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances.” The filing covers a range of media and sports entertainment uses, suggesting the name will be featured prominently on television, merchandise, and digital content.

That’s a title with serious meaning for anyone connected to The Bloodline. Roman Reigns famously anointed Sikoa as the “Tribal Heir” on SmackDown back in December 2023 — before the faction imploded in spectacular fashion.

From Bloodline Legacy to MFT Dominance

The new trademark comes at a time when Sikoa is carving his own path on SmackDown, leading his faction The MFT’s (Main Family Tribe) — a ruthless unit consisting of Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, JC Mateo, and Talla Tonga.

While Reigns, Jimmy, and Jey Uso may be rumored for the Men’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29 in San Diego, Sikoa has his own war brewing — a violent collision course with The Wyatt Sicks that’s shaping up as one of WWE’s most unpredictable storylines heading into winter.

If WWE is moving forward with the “Tribal Heir” branding, it could signal that Sikoa is officially embracing his destiny as Roman Reigns’ spiritual successor — not through loyalty, but through rebellion.

A History Written in Conflict

The Reigns–Sikoa relationship has been one of the Bloodline story’s most intense subplots. After being chosen as the future of the family, Solo eventually turned on Reigns, leading to their heated series of matches in 2024.

Reigns’ team — featuring Jey, Jimmy, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk — defeated Sikoa’s squad (Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed) in last year’s WarGames match. The Tribal Chief later reclaimed the Ula Fala in a brutal Tribal Combat match during Raw’s Netflix premiere in January.

Now, almost a year later, WWE’s renewed use of the “Tribal Heir” moniker suggests the company hasn’t forgotten that thread — and may be preparing to pay it off.

🗣️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

The filing of “Tribal Heir” is more than just paperwork — it’s a creative breadcrumb that could redefine Solo Sikoa’s WWE trajectory.

WWE’s decision to legally secure that name right as Sikoa’s faction gains traction hints that his ascension may be officially underway. Whether he’s being built as the next Tribal Chief or a rival to that throne, WWE clearly sees long-term storytelling potential in Solo’s evolution.

It’s also notable that this move comes while Roman Reigns remains on Raw — a deliberate separation that allows both men to grow without immediate overlap. When they finally cross paths again, it could feel monumental.

The Bloodline may have splintered, but the “Tribal Heir” could be the storyline that brings the saga full circle — or tears it apart for good.
