WWE Legend Jerry “The King” Lawler Suffers Stroke but Is Already on the Road to Recovery

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler has suffered another health scare, but the beloved wrestling icon is already recovering and expected to be just fine.
According to Lawler’s daughter, “The King” experienced a stroke last Friday while at one of his homes in Florida. Fortunately, he’s now resting at his primary residence and is expected to take a few weeks to fully recuperate.
Lawler was originally scheduled to appear at HorrorHound Weekend in Cincinnati this past Friday, but organizers announced he had to pull out of the convention due to “personal matters.”
At 75 years old, Lawler is no stranger to health challenges. He famously suffered a heart attack on live television during WWE Raw in 2012, experienced a stroke in 2018, and endured a major stroke again in 2023 that required ICU care and extensive rehab. Despite it all, Lawler has consistently battled back, showing the resilience that made him one of wrestling’s most enduring figures.
Fans last saw him publicly in February at a WWE SmackDown taping in Tennessee, smiling and enjoying the show. While this latest setback is concerning, all reports indicate that Lawler’s recovery is already underway.
