Full WWE NXT Results - August 05, 2025

WWE NXT is heating up as we roll into August with championship gold on the line, breakout talents hungry for spotlight, and a veteran monster looking to dominate. The August 5, 2025 edition of NXT on The CW promises high-octane action and storyline momentum as we close in on NXT Heatwave.

Two titles will be defended tonight:

  • Sol Ruca puts her NXT Women’s North American Championship on the line against the unpredictable and unhinged Tatum Paxley.
  • Tag champs Hank Walker & Tank Ledger—collectively known as Hank & Tank—defend their NXT Tag Team Titles against the surging Chase U duo, Uriah Connors & Kale Dixon.

Official Lineup: NXT – August 5, 2025

🏆 NXT Women’s North American Championship
Sol Ruca (c) vs. Tatum Paxley

🏆 NXT Tag Team Championship
Hank Walker & Tank Ledger (c) vs. Chase U’s Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors

🔹 Lexis King vs. Myles Borne
🔹 Blake Monroe vs. Kelani Jordan
🔹 Yoshiki Inamura vs. Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo
🔹 Nia Jax vs. Thea Hail

🎙️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

With NXT continuing to push both next-gen prospects and global talent, tonight’s card feels like a balance of future potential and heavy-hitting action. Sol Ruca’s title reign has been defined by athleticism—but Tatum Paxley is pure chaos, which makes her a dangerous threat. Don’t overlook Yoshiki Inamura either—his NJPW-like intensity could make him a sleeper breakout in the months to come. And if Lexis King doesn’t make a statement soon, his once-hyped momentum may officially fizzle out.

Prediction: Expect at least one title to almost change hands—but NXT loves to tease that drama.
