WWE Raw Gets a Familiar Voice Tomorrow Filling In for Alicia Taylor

This Monday night, WWE fans tuning into Raw on Netflix will hear a familiar voice echoing through the arena. Legendary ring announcer Lilian Garcia has been confirmed as the special guest ring announcer, stepping in for Alicia Taylor, who will be taking the night off.
Taylor broke the news herself on social media, writing: “Tagging in @LilianGarcia 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Thanks for holding down #RAW tomorrow!” She assured fans she’ll be back the following week, emphasizing that her absence is only temporary.

For Garcia, this is another chapter in her storied history with WWE. She first joined the company back in 1999, becoming a fixture on Raw is War with her powerful announcing style and signature singing voice. After leaving in 2009, she returned for a second run in 2011 and continued until 2016, when she stepped away to care for her father.
Even after that departure, Garcia’s presence remained strong at special WWE moments. She announced the finals of the Mae Young Classic in 2017, took the mic for the groundbreaking Evolution pay-per-view in 2018, and sang the national anthem at multiple Tribute to the Troops events.
Her latest WWE chapter began in 2024 after a successful run with the Professional Fighters League. Garcia rejoined the company, eventually serving as a full-time ring announcer before scaling back earlier this year to focus on select special events. Monday’s return to Raw is sure to be a nostalgia-filled treat for longtime fans.
