WWE Raw Preview - December 01, 2025: Who Was the Masked Man? WarGames Fallout Sends WWE Raw Into Chaos Tonight

WWE Raw rolls into Glendale, Arizona tonight—and after the insanity that went down inside Petco Park, the entire locker room is on edge. WarGames left fans buzzing, CM Punk stunned, Bron Breakker ascendant… and one masked man at the center of a mystery that could shape the road to WrestleMania.

Let’s break down everything heading into tonight’s must-see episode, streaming live at 8ET/5PT exclusively on Netflix.

WarGames Fallout: Who Was the Masked Ally?

The biggest question coming out of Survivor Series: WarGames:
Who in the world was that masked ally helping The Vision?

In the final chaotic moments, a man dressed in all black scaled the cage like a spider, super-kicked CM Punk into next week, hit a stomp clean enough to echo Rollins’ signature… and handed Bron Breakker the win on a silver platter.

Breakker sealed the deal by spearing Punk in half and pinning the World Heavyweight Champion in front of over 46,000 fans in San Diego.

If you think Punk is taking this lightly, think again. With WrestleMania season approaching, The Vision’s momentum is surging—and Punk’s patience is gone. Whether the hooded man reveals himself tonight remains the biggest looming headline in WWE.

Dominik Mysterio Returns as a Double Champion

Dirty Dom is back on top of the mountain.

After Liv Morgan returned early from injury to low-blow John Cena at Survivor Series, Dominik reclaimed his Men's Intercontinental Championship and reclaimed his status as WWE’s most gloriously hated villain.

Tonight, he'll address the WWE Universe for the first time since winning the title back. Expect maximum smugness.

Cena’s Final Opponent Tournament Continues

John Cena’s historic career enters its final two weeks. His retirement match is coming on Dec. 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event, and two huge semifinal matches will determine who gets the honor of facing him.

• Gunther vs. Solo Sikoa — Semifinal

Gunther has looked terrifying—dispatching Je’Von Evans and Carmelo Hayes with ruthless efficiency.

Solo Sikoa, meanwhile, is out to prove he’s the rightful heir to Cena’s final spotlight.

This one will be a war.

• LA Knight vs. Jey Uso — Semifinal

For the first time in the entire tournament, LA Knight enters fully aware of his opponent.

The Megastar took down Zack Ryder and The Miz, but Jey Uso is a different kind of test—a former World Heavyweight Champion with something to prove.

We’ll find out tonight.

World Tag Team Championship Match

AJ Styles & Dragon Lee (c) vs. The New Day

The Phenomenal One and Dragon Lee will defend the gold against one of WWE’s greatest tag teams of all time tonight.

The New Day's chemistry vs. Styles & Lee’s athletic brilliance? Yes, please.

Women’s Division Spotlight

Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is expected to appear after defeating Nikki Bella at Survivor Series. And Becky Lynch is reportedly heated after Jessika Carr’s mistaken tap-out call inside WarGames.

Do not expect Becky to hold back.

🗣️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

Tonight’s Raw is the kind of episode that changes direction on the Road to WrestleMania.

The Vision’s WarGames victory—and that masked intruder—feels like the beginning of a long-term power shift in WWE. If Punk doesn’t get answers tonight, expect him to make life very uncomfortable for Bron Breakker and anyone in his orbit.

As for Cena’s tournament? Gunther feels like the “safe” choice. LA Knight feels like the “fan” choice. But don’t overlook WWE’s habit of swerving right when the finish line approaches.

If the masked man reveals himself tonight… Raw may break the internet.
