CM Punk Returns to Raw

For the first time since WWE Wrestlepalooza, CM Punk is back on Raw. Last month, Punk teamed with his wife, AJ Lee, to defeat Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a blockbuster mixed tag. But with Crown Jewel looming, and Rollins preparing for his showdown with Cody Rhodes, expect Punk to have plenty to say—and possibly do—to keep his rivalry with The Visionary burning hot.

Roman Reigns Opens the Show

The Tribal Chief is back. After returning on SmackDown, Roman Reigns will officially kick off tonight’s Raw. With The Vision stretched thin and the Usos building momentum, expect sparks to fly as Reigns sets the tone for WWE’s biggest week heading into Perth.

Becky Lynch vs. Maxxine Dupri

Still fuming after tapping out to AJ Lee at Wrestlepalooza, Becky Lynch has been on a rampage. Last week she blindsided the Alpha Academy, leading to tonight’s non-title clash against Maxxine Dupri. Maxxine has been grinding hard behind the scenes—will she shock the world against The Man, or will Lynch continue to send a message to the women’s division?

Lyra Valkyria vs. Roxanne Perez (w/ Raquel Rodriguez)

With Bayley battling her own identity crisis, Lyra Valkyria has found herself caught in the crossfire. Tonight she faces Roxanne Perez, with Raquel Rodriguez in her corner. Valkyria has been fighting alongside Bayley in recent weeks against The Judgment Day, but the big question remains—can she keep her focus on The Prodigy, or will Bayley’s chaos continue to distract?

Who Else to Expect

The women’s division will be stacked tonight with Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, and the Kabuki Warriors all advertised. Add in The Usos, LA Knight, and the looming shadow of The Vision, and Raw looks like another explosive chapter before WWE lands in Australia.

🗣️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

This week’s Raw feels like a perfect storm before Crown Jewel. Punk’s return throws gasoline on an already heated Rollins rivalry, while Reigns reclaiming the spotlight sets up a power shift across both brands. Becky Lynch’s fury could make Maxxine Dupri either a victim or a surprise star if she hangs tough. And with Valkyria, Perez, Bayley, and the women’s champions all in play, WWE is packing every corner of the show with intrigue. Expect tonight to be less about finishes and more about statements.
