What to watch (live on Netflix, 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT)
- Adam Pearce delivers a health and storyline update on World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins
- Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed & Paul Heyman address the WWE Universe — or escalate it further
- Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Rusev — Men’s Intercontinental Championship
- Becky Lynch (c) vs. Maxxine Dupri — Women’s Intercontinental Championship
- Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh (c) vs. AJ Styles & Dragon Lee — World Tag Team Championship
The big picture: The Vision’s collapse
Seth Rollins’ weekend at Crown Jewel felt like the peak of his career — until Breakker and Reed turned the moment into a massacre. Raw GM Adam Pearce should have answers about Seth’s condition and whether Paul Heyman stays the consigliere or flips the room. More importantly: are the Brons now a new faction, or did Rollins’ “vision” just mutate into something infinitely more dangerous? Monday should give us a read — and maybe a match or angle to follow through Survivor Series season.
Title Spotlight — Women’s Intercontinental: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Maxxine Dupri
Becky’s been toying with Maxxine, and that arrogance almost cost her; Dupri cashed in a count-out to become the number one contender. This is a classic “prove it” moment for Maxxine — and a test of Becky’s hunger post-Crown Jewel. Expect Lynch to impose a punishing pace; Dupri needs a moment of ring IQ or a surprise to pull the upset.
Intercontinental Rematch — Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Rusev
Dirty Dom’s underhanded win last time left a lot unresolved. Rusev earned a rematch and brings brute force and intensity. Pearce confirmed the bout for tonight; if Rusev can keep this clean and decisive, he’ll shut down the cheating narrative and flip the midcard picture.
Tag Title Shakeup — AJ Styles & Dragon Lee take their shot
Because Dominik opened his mouth at the wrong time, Pearce booked AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs. Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh for the tag straps. Styles/Lee bring speed and ring craft; Bálor/McDonagh bring cold precision. This one could steal the show — and if the champions lose, expect the stable dynamics across Raw to shift.
🗣️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
WWE needs this episode to do two things: 1) give a clear narrative direction for Seth Rollins (injury status + who’s running The Vision), and 2) capitalize on momentum from explosive angles rather than letting them plateau. The Brons’ betrayal is the biggest swerve of the fall and can elevate Raw if handled like a slow-burn power play — or it can collapse into noise if WWE buries the fallout under filler. If Pearce, Heyman and the roster use tonight to set specific stakes (matches, rematches, allies), Raw could be appointment TV again. If they punt, fans will feel shorted.
