Commentary: Michael Cole & Corey Graves

WWE delivered an emotional, action-packed Raw just days before SummerSlam — highlighted by a powerful tribute to Hulk Hogan, explosive returns, and family tensions reaching a boiling point. Here’s how it all went down, match-by-match:

🔔 Opening Tribute: Remembering Hulk Hogan

The show opened with the entire WWE roster on stage as a 10-bell salute honored the late Hulk Hogan (1953–2025). A stirring video montage aired, and legends like Eric Bischoff, Triple H, and Jimmy Hart reflected on Hogan’s larger-than-life legacy. The crowd erupted in “Hogan” chants throughout the segment.

🎤 Paul Heyman Stirs the Bloodline Pot

Jey Uso confronted Paul Heyman in a fiery promo exchange, setting the emotional tone ahead of his main event match against Bronson Reed. Heyman insulted Uso’s family while waving warnings about betrayal, but Jey stood firm, vowing to run it back for family — "Ugh ugh… YEET!"

🔥 6-Person Mixed Tag

AJ Styles & Kabuki Warriors def. Judgment Day
Dominik Mysterio ducked AJ Styles early, but chaos soon unfolded. Kairi Sane and Asuka delivered tag team precision, and Styles hit the Phenomenal Forearm on Mysterio for the pinfall.
Winner: AJ Styles & Kabuki Warriors

🔥 Sheamus vs. Grayson Waller

Waller tried using Rusev's interference to steal the win, but Sheamus countered with a thunderous Brogue Kick.
Winner: Sheamus
Post-match, Rusev assaulted Sheamus with a shillelagh and locked in the Accolade until officials intervened.

👑 Promo: Lyra Valkyria Challenges Becky Lynch

Valkyria cut a passionate promo, hyping their No DQ title rematch at SummerSlam. She promised to go to a darker place and took out Lynch with a surprise kendo stick attack to end the segment on top.

🔥8-Woman Tag Team Match

Naomi, Chelsea Green & Secret Hervice vs. IYO SKY, Nikki Bella, Stephanie Vaquer & Rhea Ripley
An electric, chaotic bout ended with Stephanie Vaquer pinning Green after a wild finishing sequence involving meteoras, missile dropkicks, and a Devil’s Kiss.
Winners: IYO SKY, Nikki Bella, Stephanie Vaquer & Rhea Ripley

🎮 Backstage Chaos

As tensions rose among Judgment Day, Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh defended their titles against the LWO next.

Also backstage, Naomi says she isn't losing her match at SummerSlam, no way in hell. She seems very confident for her upcoming match.

🔥 World Tag Team Championship

An action-heavy title bout featured interference from not one, but two masked "El Grande Americanos" — the second possibly being Chad Gable. The distraction led to a Coup de Grâce by Bálor on Del Toro for the win.
Winners and STILL Champions: Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh

🎤 Gunther & CM Punk Face Off

Gunther gloated over last week’s war of words — until CM Punk returned with a searing promo declaring he needs the World Title like oxygen.
“There are levels to this, kid,” Punk said. “At SummerSlam, you’ll find out you’re not on mine.”

🔥 MAIN EVENT: Jey Uso vs. Bronson Reed
