WWE Raw Results - November 17, 2025: Cena’s Last Raw Delivers Chaos in MSG, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar Return

John Cena’s final Monday Night Raw as an active competitor was never going to be a quiet night… but nobody expected this level of chaos. From a new Women’s Intercontinental Champion, to surprise returns, to Roman Reigns heroically charging the ring — WWE delivered one of the wildest Garden shows in years.

Here’s everything that went down on a historic night from The Mecca.

John Cena Opens the Show — and MSG Erupts

Cena kicked things off in front of a molten MSG crowd, thanking New York for making and breaking careers and calling this final Raw appearance bittersweet but important. Before he could finish…

Dominik Mysterio interrupted.

Dom accused Cena of being handed everything his entire career and demanded his rematch for the Intercontinental Championship.

Cena shot back that he’s not backing down on his final Raw — but Dom refused to fight tonight and instead demanded the rematch at Survivor Series in San Diego. Cena accepted… then told Dom he still owes MSG a fight tonight and offered a non-title match.

Judgment Day’s Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh hit the ring, and the trio jumped Cena until—

SHEAMUS MADE THE SAVE

…only to get overwhelmed immediately.

REY MYSTERIO HIT THE RING NEXT

The babyfaces cleaned house, Cena grabbed the mic, and booked a six-man tag on the spot.

John Cena, Rey Mysterio & Sheamus def. Judgment Day (Dominik, Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh)

Match joined in progress after the break. Judgment Day isolated Sheamus early, working him down until Rey Mysterio tagged in and ran wild.

Key spots:

  • Dominik tripped Rey mid–springboard.
  • JD and Finn swarmed Rey heading into the second commercial break.
  • Rey reversed into a wheelbarrow head-scissors that low-blowed JD (accidentally… allegedly).
  • Cena tagged in: shoulder blocks, Blue Thunder Driver, Five Knuckle Shuffle — classic Cena.
  • Judgment Day hit a sequence: Moonsault → Coup de Grace → Frog Splash, but Sheamus & Rey broke up the pin.
  • Triple Beats of the Bodhrán spot popped MSG hard.
  • Triple “You Can’t See Me” followed by triple Knuckle Shuffles.
  • Double 619 → Brogue Kick → Attitude Adjustment

Winner: John Cena, Rey Mysterio & Sheamus via pinfall (Cena pins JD McDonagh)

An all-timer MSG opener.

BACKSTAGE: Heyman Has His WarGames Fifth Man — And the GMs Hate It

Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis were discussing SmackDown fallout when Paul Heyman rolled up, insisting what he did with Drew McIntyre was “within regulations.” He dropped a mysterious contract folder into Pearce’s hands.

Both GMs sighed and rolled their eyes.
 Not a good sign.

Nikki Bella Attacks Stephanie Vaquer

Stephanie Vaquer came out for an interview — but Nikki Bella blindsided her on the stage, beating her down before cutting a fiery promo:

“I didn’t come back to be a sidekick. I came back to TAKE MY DIVISION BACK… and you will bow down to the woman who changed the entire industry.”

Nikki vs. Vaquer is coming — and the division just got real.

Bayley Rejects Kabuki Warriors for WarGames

Asuka & Kairi offered Bayley the WarGames spot — and Bayley mocked them before walking away.
Lyra Valkyria tried to bond with Bayley afterward… Bayley called her an idiot.

Tension on the babyface side.

Solo Sikoa def. Dolph Ziggler (Last Time Is Now Tournament – Round 1)

Surprise entrant: DOLPH ZIGGLER. MSG popped huge.

Match highlights:

  • Ziggler stormed out with early offense.
  • Solo regained control after the break with heavy strikes.
  • Ziggler hit a big DDT + Fameasser + Zig Zag for NEARFALLS.
  • Solo blocked one superkick but ate a second.

Solo advances in the Cena Tournament.

Alexa Bliss Calls Out Charlotte — Chaos Ensues

Alexa tore into Charlotte for abandoning her last week and ignoring her calls. Before she could finish…

Kabuki Warriors + Lash Legend + Nia Jax surrounded her.

Asuka mocked her, Jax called her a loser.

Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY hit the ring, but even they couldn’t stop the numbers.

CHARLOTTE FLAIR RETURNED WITH A KENDO STICK

She cleared house and helped Alexa to her feet — seemingly joining the babyface WarGames team.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Maxxine Dupri def. Becky Lynch (c)

Maxxine Dupri becomes NEW champion.

A shocker in MSG.

  • Maxxine nearly won with a big boot in the opening seconds.
  • Becky fought back with body avalanches and submissions.
  • Maxxine fired up: splash, fisherman suplex, leg drop.
  • Becky locked in the armbar — Maxxine escaped.
  • Manhandle Slam → Maxxine foot on ropes!
  • Becky exposed a turnbuckle to end it…
  • AJ LEE RETURNED and distracted her!
  • Maxxine hit a diving crossbody.

Winner & NEW Champion: Maxxine Dupri

Massive moment for her career.

GUNTHER def. Je’Von Evans (Last Time Is Now Tournament – Round 1)

Match of the night.

  • Evans tested Gunther with speed early.
  • Gunther punished him with Boston Crab, chops, backbreakers.
  • Evans rallied: suicide dive, crossbody, frog splash.
  • Gunther drilled him with sleeper suplex + Tenryu Powerbomb — Evans KICKED OUT.
  • Gunther finally locked the Gojira Clutch for the submission.

Winner: Gunther via submission

Je’Von earned respect. Gunther looked unstoppable.

AJ Lee Confronted by Rhea Ripley Backstage

AJ celebrated with Maxxine and teased sticking around WWE.

Rhea Ripley confronted her privately, asking for “a moment alone.”

Something big is brewing.

WarGames Brawl: Roman Reigns Saves the Day

Paul Heyman introduced his WarGames team.
CM Punk, The Usos, and Cody Rhodes hit the ring.

A massive brawl broke out.

BROCK LESNAR’S MUSIC HIT.
Lesnar Suplex City’d Punk and destroyed Cody.

Just as all hope faded…

ROMAN REIGNS RETURNED

Reigns stared down Brock — SUPER MAN PUNCH sent Lesnar flying.

Then Bronson Reed attacked Roman from behind.
Roman brawled with Reed AND security — then speared them through the barricade.

MSG exploded.

An all-time Raw ending.

🎙️ Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
