September 29, 2025 – Lenovo Center, Raleigh, NC—WWE Raw delivered a loaded episode just days away from Crown Jewel, packed with emotional betrayals, high-stakes title action, and a shocking return that turned the tag division upside down.

Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY vs. The Kabuki Warriors Saga (Segment)

The night opened with Rhea Ripley calling out Asuka and Kairi Sane after their shocking betrayal of IYO SKY. Ripley made it clear she wanted a fight, not family drama. SKY joined her in the ring, torn between loyalty to her past allies and the painful truth Rhea laid out.

On the tron, Asuka and Kairi pleaded with SKY to “apologize and come home,” but Ripley told Asuka to “go to hell.” As IYO hesitated, the Kabuki Warriors ambushed Rhea. SKY snapped, rushing to Ripley’s aid, but Asuka blinded her with the poison mist.

The Kabukis left both Ripley and SKY lying as medical staff checked on them, cementing this rivalry as one of the hottest angles heading into Crown Jewel.

Intercontinental Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) def. Rusev

Rusev’s raw power dominated much of the match, tossing Dominik around with suplexes and slams. Dirty Dom fought back with speed, hitting multiple 619s, but couldn’t keep the Bulgarian Brute down.

After a referee distraction, Mysterio resorted to his father’s old tricks — a low blow followed by a schoolboy pin — to steal the victory and retain the Intercontinental Championship. The crowd showered him with boos as Rusev stared daggers, knowing he’d been robbed.

Backstage Tensions

  • Adam Pearce & LA Knight: Pearce admitted making Knight guest referee at Wrestlepalooza was a mistake. LA brushed it off, demanding his title shot. The New Day interrupted, leading to Pearce booking LA Knight vs. Kofi Kingston.
  • Bayley & Lyra Valkyria: Bayley continued her identity crisis, pleading with Valkyria to be in her corner. Lyra refused, saying she couldn’t trust Bayley anymore.
  • The Usos: Jimmy and Jey clashed backstage over loyalty and priorities, but ultimately agreed to handle business together.

Bayley vs. Raquel Rodriguez

Bayley threw everything she had at Raquel, but Rodriguez’s power was too much. Despite Roxanne Perez’s interference, Big Mami Cool planted Bayley with her one-arm powerbomb for the win.

Post-match, Perez and Rodriguez attacked Bayley until Lyra Valkyria surprisingly ran out to make the save. Though conflicted, Lyra fought off Judgment Day before reluctantly celebrating with Bayley, who aggressively treated her as an ally.

Winner: Raquel Rodriguez

LA Knight vs. Kofi Kingston

In a hard-hitting bout, LA Knight weathered interference from Xavier Woods and Kingston’s veteran trickery. After countering Trouble in Paradise, Knight hit the BFT to secure the win.

Winner: LA Knight

Becky Lynch Heats Up

Backstage, Becky Lynch mocked Maxxine Dupri before attacking her and Akira Tozawa. Later, she crossed paths with Seth Rollins, who was visibly focused on his Crown Jewel showdown with Cody Rhodes.

Seth Rollins & Cody Rhodes Face Off

Rollins addressed the crowd, dismissing his three prior losses to Cody as irrelevant. He claimed he alone should lead WWE into the future. Cody fired back, pointing out Paul Heyman’s influence on Rollins’ faction and mocking the idea that Seth truly controls his destiny.

The segment escalated with Rollins exploding at the fans and revealing he was never Cody’s friend — just using him to get ahead. Their Crown Jewel match now feels less like competition and more like destiny.

AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs. Los Americanos

AJ and Dragon Lee showed excellent chemistry in their tag match against Los Americanos. After Dragon hit a double stomp, Styles sealed the win with a Styles Clash.

Winners: AJ Styles & Dragon Lee

Stephanie Vaquer vs. Tiffany Stratton Build

Backstage, Vaquer promised to dethrone Tiffany Stratton at Crown Jewel. Stratton fired back with her trademark confidence, declaring it’s still “Tiffy Time.”

Tornado Tag Main Event: The Usos def. Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed

All four men tore into each other from the bell, with brawls spilling around ringside. Just when it looked like Bron & Bronson had control, Roman Reigns’ music hit to a thunderous ovation.

Reigns stormed the ring, wielding a steel chair, and demolished Breakker and Reed. With the chaos cleared, The Usos hit stereo splashes to score the pinfall.

Post-match, Roman embraced his cousins, reuniting The Bloodline in dramatic fashion. Jey appeared emotional while Jimmy looked uneasy, hinting at future tension.

Winners: The Usos

Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

This episode of Raw had everything WWE fans crave: shocking betrayals, emotional promos, title drama, and the surprise return of Roman Reigns. The Kabuki Warriors vs. Ripley/SKY feud is shaping up to be the women’s division’s most personal rivalry in years, while Seth and Cody’s Crown Jewel clash feels like a generational showdown.

Dirty Dom’s title reign continues to generate heat, but the bigger story is Roman’s return — WWE just put the Bloodline saga back on track, and it could define the final months of 2025.
