Cody Rhodes (c) def. Drew McIntyre
WWE Undisputed Men’s Championship
With no champion’s advantage in play, Cody Rhodes put his title on the line against Drew McIntyre in a brutal and unpredictable main event-caliber opener.
From the moment the bell rang, both men fought like they had something to prove. Rhodes came out swinging, while McIntyre matched every strike with thunderous chops and suplexes. Referee Dan Engler became an unintentional third participant, getting shoved, bumped, and nearly flattened throughout the match — though he stayed conscious long enough to make the final count.
After a Claymore and a near countout, McIntyre brought the title belt into play, but Cody outsmarted him — using a DDT onto the belt (unseen by the ref) before hitting a devastating Cross Rhodes for the win.
Winner: Cody Rhodes (still WWE Undisputed Men’s Champion)

Jade Cargill def. Tiffany Stratton (c)
WWE Women’s Championship
The storm that is Jade Cargill finally struck gold.
Cargill dominated early, using her power game to ground the normally agile Tiffany Stratton. Stratton fought back valiantly, hitting a breathtaking senton from the top rope, but Cargill’s strength was too much.
After a series of devastating powerbombs, Cargill sealed her destiny with Jaded — crowning herself the new WWE Women’s Champion and ending Stratton’s near year-long reign.

Dominik Mysterio (c) def. Penta & Rusev
Triple Threat Match – Intercontinental Championship
Dominik Mysterio once again lived up to his nickname — Dirty Dom — by surviving two monsters in Penta and Rusev in a chaotic triple threat bout.
The match saw bodies flying everywhere — Rusev locking in the Accolade, Penta hitting a Penta Driver, and Dominik trying (and failing) to cheat before finally pulling it off.
After a ref distraction and hammer chaos at ringside, Mysterio nailed a frog splash on Rusev to steal the win and retain his title.

John Cena Announces His Final Tournament
Between matches, WWE aired an emotional promo featuring John Cena announcing a 16-man tournament beginning November 10 on Monday Night Raw.
The winner will earn the right to face Cena in his final match on December 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C.
Cena reflected on his career, saying:
“I want someone to step up to me the same way I once stepped up to Kurt Angle.”
It’s the official beginning of the Cena Farewell Tour’s endgame.

CM Punk def. “Main Event” Jey Uso
For the Vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship
A war of attrition capped off the night, as CM Punk and Jey Uso tore the house down for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship.
Uso showed the aggression and poise of a main event veteran, matching Punk hold for hold, and hitting a spear through the barricade that left both men destroyed. Punk fought back with his classic sequence — rising knee, bulldog, and the Go To Sleep, but Jey wouldn’t stay down.
In a wild closing stretch, both men traded finishers — even stealing each other’s moves — until Punk connected with two consecutive Go To Sleeps to finally score the pin and become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

🎙 Wrestling.news | Backstage Take
This was WWE at its best — a mix of nostalgia, unpredictability, and emotional storytelling. Cody and Drew’s war was worthy of WrestleMania, Jade’s title win officially cemented her as the next big name in the women’s division, and CM Punk’s coronation felt like a full-circle moment after years of chaos and redemption.
But the real headline? John Cena’s farewell tournament. WWE isn’t just scripting a goodbye — they’re writing history. Expect every round of that tournament to be must-watch television.
