WWE SmackDown Results - November 14, 2025: The ‘Last Time Is Now’ Tournament Rolls On; WarGames Teams Fall Apart; Cody Rhodes Targeted by The Vision

WarGames Tension Opens the Show

SmackDown opened with a recap of Monday’s shocking finish, where the Kabuki Warriors captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships thanks to interference from Lash Legend and Nia Jax — officially igniting the road to WarGames.

IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley hit the ring to address the chaos. Ripley reminded the crowd that while she’s been out with a broken nose, the Kabuki Warriors have been running wild with their new allies. SKY added that every numbers advantage eventually becomes a trap — and at WarGames, there will be nowhere to run.

Ripley introduced two of their WarGames teammates: Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair.

Bliss was ready for battle, but Flair shocked the crowd.
Charlotte said she couldn’t pretend anymore — she doesn’t trust IYO, doesn’t trust Rhea, and there’s too much bad blood to ignore. She told Bliss she loved her, but she can’t be on this team.

Charlotte walked out alone.

The Last Time Is Now Tournament – First Round

Jey Uso def. The Miz

Jey entered from the concourse to a huge ovation. After a fast-paced start, Jey sent Miz to the floor with a lariat and landed a huge suicide dive heading into commercial.

Back from break, Miz nearly stole it with the Five Knuckle Shuffle and a Skull-Crushing Finale, but Jey kept fighting. A fireman’s carry drop into the turnbuckles stunned Miz, and the Diving Uso Splash sealed the deal.

Winner: Jey Uso via pinfall
*Jey advances in the Last Time Is Now Tournament.

Backstage – Dragunov Chooses His Challenger

Ilja Dragunov was speaking with Nick Aldis when DIY approached, demanding fairness in Dragunov’s United States Championship Open Challenge.

Dragunov dismissed their complaints and named someone he believes embodies honor and respect…

Axiom.

DIY stormed off angrily as Axiom stepped up.

Backstage – Heyman Crashes the Party

Aldis ran into Paul Heyman and “Big” Bronson Reed. Heyman declared that The Vision can pull anyone onto their WarGames side from any brand.

Cody Rhodes joined the confrontation, leading to Reed challenging him. Heyman baited Cody into putting his WWE Championship on the line.

Nick Aldis warned Cody not to fall for it.
 Cody insisted.

The match was made.

WWE United States Championship

Ilja Dragunov (c) def. Axiom

A technical showcase followed.

Axiom dazzled with fluid counters, including a triangle choke and a moonsault DDT, but Dragunov refused to stay down. The Champion powered out of multiple submissions and landed a violent H-Bomb to retain.

Winner: Ilja Dragunov via pinfall
*Ilja retains the WWE United States Championship.

After the match, Tommaso Ciampa ambushed Axiom backstage until Nathan Frazer broke it up.

Sami Zayn Addresses Solo Sikoa

Sami Zayn came out to reflect on his SmackDown journey — the highs of winning gold, wrestling John Cena, and fighting top-tier talent, and the lows of being injured and forced to watch chaos unfold.

Solo Sikoa and the MFTs interrupted.
Solo berated Sami, calling him a selfish liar with no loyalty.

As the MFTs surrounded the ring, Solo mocked Sami’s injury… until Zayn revealed:

He is now 100% medically cleared.

Before Solo could strike, Rey Fenix, Shinsuke Nakamura, and the Motor City Machine Guns pulled the MFTs off the apron. Sami unloaded on Solo and nearly hit the Helluva Kick until Talla Tonga and JC Mateo swarmed him.

A wild brawl erupted, ending with Fenix hitting a spectacular tornillo to wipe out the MFTs.

Later, Aldis announced a 5-on-5 Survivor Series match in two weeks.

The Last Time Is Now Tournament – First Round

LA Knight def. Zack Ryder (Mystery Opponent)

The mystery opponent turned out to be Zack Ryder, returning to a big reaction.

Ryder nearly stole the match with the Rough Ryder, but Knight battled back, countered a dive with a powerbomb, and planted him with the BFT.

Winner: LA Knight via pinfall
*Knight advances in the tournament.

Backstage Attack – Women’s WarGames Chaos

Alexa Bliss spoke with IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley about Charlotte walking out — before the Kabuki Warriors, Lash Legend, and Nia Jax ambushed all three women and left them down.

WarGames is unraveling before it even begins.

Jade Cargill def. B-FAB

B-FAB started strong with a dropkick combo, but Jade Cargill quickly took over with raw power.

A chokeslam, a jackknife powerbomb, and finally Jaded ended the match decisively.

Winner: Jade Cargill via pinfall

Afterward, Mia “Michin” Yim confronted Jade, teasing a future collision.

Backstage Updates – More Tournament Matches Revealed

Nick Aldis announced two more first-round matches:

  • Carmelo Hayes vs. “Big” Bronson Reed
  • Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Finn Bálor

Carmelo Hayes later vowed he would not miss if he gets the chance to retire John Cena.

WWE Undisputed Championship – Title Match Ends in Chaos

Cody Rhodes def. Bronson Reed by Disqualification

Cody came out swinging, but Reed’s size overwhelmed him early. After weathering the storm, Rhodes hit the Cody Cutter and finally got momentum.

On the floor, Cody cleared the desk — but Bron Breakker blindsided him.

Winner: Cody Rhodes via disqualification (presumed)

Then the beatdown escalated…

Logan Paul joined Breakker and Reed to assault Rhodes.

The Usos ran in for the save, setting up Logan Paul for a 1D through a Slim Jim table — before Drew McIntyre appeared and knocked Jimmy off the top rope.

Heyman and The Vision seized control again:

  • Breakker speared Jey Uso through a table.
  • Logan Paul decked Big Jim with a right hand.
  • Cody tried to fight back but was dropped with a Claymore.
  • Reed crushed him with a 747 Splash.

As Heyman handed Drew a contract, The Vision stood tall to close the show.

Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

SmackDown delivered another high-impact episode on the road to WarGames and Cena’s farewell match, but the real story is how fractured both sides are becoming. Charlotte’s walkout leaves Team Ripley/IYO without a critical piece, while The Vision continues adding bodies and momentum at an alarming pace.

Cody Rhodes is clearly the number-one target in WWE right now — and The Vision sending McIntyre, Breakker, Reed, and Logan Paul at him simultaneously might be the first sign that this WarGames won’t be balanced at all.

On the Cena side, the tournament remains unpredictable with major surprises still expected. With LA Knight and Jey Uso now advancing, the field is shaping up fast — and the mystery entrants over the next week could be game-changing.
