WWE SummerSlam 2025 is set to erupt from MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on August 2nd and 3rd, marking the first-ever two-night edition of the legendary pay-per-view. And with a card packed full of dream matches, championship stakes, celebrity crossovers, and long-awaited rematches—it’s shaping up to rival WrestleMania itself.

But don’t get too comfortable with what’s been announced. WWE has made one thing clear through history:

🏆 World Heavyweight Championship
Gunther (c) vs. CM Punk
With Seth Rollins sidelined by injury, the path opened for Punk to step into the spotlight. After surviving a gauntlet match on Raw, Punk gets his chance to claim his first world title since returning. But standing in his way is the dominant and dangerous Gunther.

Randy Orton & Jelly Roll vs. Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul
Yes, that Jelly Roll. The country music star steps into a WWE ring for the first time—and he’s aligned with The Viper. But Logan Paul and McIntyre aren’t here to entertain. They’re here to steal the spotlight—and maybe end a career.

Roman Reigns & Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed
With Seth Rollins out of the picture, these four juggernauts are on a collision course. Reigns returned to save Punk and Uso from an ambush—now the bloodline might run red.

Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill

Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross

🏆 Undisputed WWE Championship – Street Fight
John Cena (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
After stealing Rhodes’ WrestleMania moment, Cena now faces a very different American Nightmare. Cody fought through the King of the Ring gauntlet and forced Cena into a brutal Street Fight rematch. Can Rhodes finish the story, or will Cena write the final chapter?

🏆 Women's World Championship – Triple Threat
Naomi (c) vs. Iyo Sky vs. Rhea Ripley
Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank contract mid-match at Evolution and walked out with gold. Now she defends it against the two women she blindsided. The stakes are sky high, and Pearce promises this match will “make magic.”

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria
