WWE Talent Reportedly Set to Leave After Contract Expires

The landscape of WWE’s women’s division may be shifting once again. According to a new report, Jazmyn Nyx is expected to part ways with WWE after declining a new contract.

Nyx Written Out of NXT Storylines

This week’s episode of WWE NXT gave fans a major hint about Nyx’s future. During a backstage interview with Je’Von Evans, the camera cut to reveal Nyx laid out on the floor. Her Fatal Influence stablemates—Fallon Henley and NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne—stood over her, making it clear she was being kicked out of the faction.

The moment was presented as an angle, but reports quickly surfaced that the segment was more than just a storyline—it was WWE’s way of writing her off television.

Contract Dispute and Exit

According to PWInsider, WWE recently extended a new deal to Nyx, but she turned it down. The report noted:

“WWE wrote Jazmyn Nyx out of company storyline last night as she turned down an offer to sign a new deal with the company. Multiple sources have confirmed that she declined what WWE offered her. When her existing contract expires, she would be free and clear to wrestle anywhere she chooses – if she wishes.”

That means once her current contract officially expires, Nyx will be free to take her talents to another promotion—or step away from wrestling altogether if she chooses.

Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

This one stings for NXT. Jazmyn Nyx had only recently started to gain real traction on TV through her involvement with Fatal Influence. Being aligned with Jacy Jayne gave her a valuable spotlight, and her sudden removal from the group shows WWE wasn’t willing to drag this out if she had no plans to stay long term.

The bigger story is where she might land. With AEW and TNA both expanding their women’s rosters, Nyx could quickly find a new platform if she wants to keep wrestling. For now, her exit underlines WWE’s hard-line stance: if you don’t re-sign, creative will move forward without you.
