Karrion Kross and Scarlett Set for First Match After WWE Exit

The post-WWE journey of Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux is already taking shape. The duo, whose contracts officially expired earlier this month, have been confirmed for their first in-ring appearance since leaving the company.

Independent promotion WrestlePro announced that Kross will wrestle at their upcoming event on Saturday, September 21st, with Scarlett also appearing alongside him. While an opponent has not yet been revealed, the announcement marks the first time fans will see the pair in a wrestling environment since their WWE departure.

Last WWE Bout Came at SummerSlam

Kross’ final WWE match took place at SummerSlam on August 2, where he squared off with Sami Zayn. Just days later, on August 10, both Kross and Scarlett’s contracts officially expired. The pair were quietly moved to WWE’s alumni section online, seemingly putting to rest speculation about possible new deals.

Their exit became even clearer after Kross addressed the situation publicly, including a candid interview with Ariel Helwani, where he spoke openly about the end of his WWE run and his uncertain future.

A New Beginning on the Horizon

This WrestlePro booking represents more than just another match—it’s the clearest sign yet that Kross and Scarlett are moving forward independently. Whether this appearance is the start of a full indie schedule, a bridge to another major promotion, or simply a chance to reconnect with fans, it signals that the duo isn’t stepping away from the spotlight.

Wrestling.news | Backstage Take

Karrion Kross’ WWE career was filled with starts and stops, but outside the system, he has the freedom to carve his own path. With Scarlett at his side, his presentation has always stood out—something that can be showcased even more on the independent scene. WrestlePro may be the first stop, but all eyes will be on whether this is the beginning of a larger post-WWE resurgence.
