Logan Paul on WWE Journey After John Cena Match: ‘I’m Not Going Anywhere’

Logan Paul isn’t backing down after stepping into the ring with John Cena in Paris — in fact, he’s doubling down on his WWE ambitions.
At WWE Clash in Paris, the record-setting 17-time World Champion John Cena picked up another milestone victory, defeating Paul in front of a raucous crowd at Paris La Défense Arena. While Cena’s farewell tour rolls on with just three months remaining, Logan Paul came away from the experience more determined than ever to prove he belongs in WWE.
Following the match, Paul praised Cena on X, calling him an “absolute mastermind of the craft” and admitting that he’s not sure if fans will ever fully grasp just how good Cena truly is between the ropes.
But Paul saved his biggest statement for his own platform. In his latest YouTube vlog, titled The Hardest Match Of My Life, the social media sensation turned WWE star revealed that the bout has fueled his hunger for more.
“I’m leaving Paris more motivated now than ever,” Paul said. “I want to work. I want to be the biggest entertainer in the world, and I think I proved that I’m capable of doing that. To the WWE audience, to Triple H, I’m ready to f***ing work. I proved I have the capability. Put me in, coach. WWE audience, this is the beginning of a very long journey. If you hate me, I’m not going anywhere. If you love me, I’ll see you soon.” - Paul said.
This wasn’t Paul’s first brush with Cena. The two previously shared the ring twice this summer — first teaming together in a losing effort against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso at Money in the Bank, and later in Montreal where Cena and Rhodes topped Paul and Drew McIntyre by disqualification.
Future WWE Champion?
While Paul entered WWE as an outsider, his progression has been undeniable. Since his WrestleMania 38 debut in 2022, the 30-year-old has already competed in 24 matches, showcasing high-flying athleticism, sharp charisma, and an instinct for big-match storytelling.
Some see him as a future WWE Champion — not only because of the mainstream publicity it would generate for WWE and TKO, but also because he has shown genuine ability to connect with crowds inside the squared circle. For now, Paul seems intent on proving that his commitment isn’t a passing stunt but the start of something bigger.

If his Paris clash with Cena was truly the “hardest match” of his life, then Paul just showed he can hang with one of the greatest to ever do it.
