Two storylines to keep an eye on as these dates approach:

  1. Brock Lesnar watch: With buzz around Lesnar’s limited-date schedules, late-September TV is exactly the kind of window WWE likes to heat up. If he’s active during this stretch, the go-home SmackDown on Sept. 19 (Toledo) and the Orlando SmackDown on Sept. 26 are the most logical spots for a surprise appearance or a stare-down to set his next chapter. (Related: we’ll be tracking Brock’s TV and live dates in our ongoing update—link your piece here.)
  2. That Sept. 20 weekend: Industry chatter has WWE eyeing a premium live event (PLE) on Sat., Sept. 20, the same night AEW’s All Out is expected to run. If that plan locks in, Sept. 19 SmackDown becomes a prime launchpad for last-minute angles, and Sept. 22 Raw would serve as the immediate fallout show. Expect those cards to be stacked if the head-to-head scenario happens. (Related: link your report on the potential WWE PLE vs. AEW All Out here.)

Bottom line: these three TV stops look like chess moves around a potentially loaded weekend—perfect real estate for shocks, returns, and cross-brand momentum plays.
